What sets BDAR apart is our unique vision for Wyoming:

We’re the only rescue dedicated exclusively to helping Wyoming’s homeless pets and Wyoming’s pet owners. PACK Program: A partnership with the Wyoming Medium Correctional Institution that pairs shelter dogs with inmate handlers for 9 weeks. This program teaches dogs basic obedience and provides both the dog and the inmate with the opportunity

for shared redemption and rehabilitation. Foster care: A program designed to increase the capacity of the adoption program by placing animals in temporary care in the homes of willing volunteers. High-volume adoptions: A program designed to place as many homeless pets in dedicated permanent homes as quickly as possible, thereby freeing up physical, financial, and human resources necessary to care for new incoming animals, or those requiring more extensive therapies prior to adoption. Low-cost microchips: Affording people the ability to have their pet permanently identified in the event they become missing and need to be reunited with their owner. Pet food pantry: Assisting members of the community with free dog and cat food and other supplies during times of financial hardship. Positive Alternatives to Shelter Surrender (PASS) program: Re-homing assistance for dogs who need not ever enter a shelter.

She’s a 6 yr old herding breed who loves to learn! Shes happiest playing with humans or running the yard!

Finn's your typical Husky!. He's talkative, confident, and playful. He would prefer to spend his days zooming from one activity to the next. He does best with a dog door to a backyard, and a human that wants his attention all day long.

He is an available pet, 3 years old, and around 60 lbs.

Meet Hallie!

This sweet girl comes out of her shell more and more everyday. She loves head rubs and looking at you with her big eyes! Shes available and can be met during the day at our office!

Nike is just the coolest dog around! He hung with his fosters at our Co****le Tournament and didn’t care one bit that we kept taking his photo! He is a happy boy with a playful personality!

BDAR's office is closed today. We will reopen on Monday June 23rd. We hope you have as much fun this weekend as Samson had at the vet yesterday watching cat TV before his neuter surgery. Samson is available for adoption and would love to watch TV with you.

This rolly polly gal is Mindy! She is all wiggles when she meets new people.

In the past she has been great with other dogs, but in the past couple months, she's been getting in fights with her sister.

Mindy would like to be the only dog in your house so she can soak up all the love. She's playful and silly! Mindy likes to use her mouth to explore so it's best to remind her that toys are for chewing, not hands. She is a sweet girl that would love to join your home today!

We raised over $20,000 to fund second chances for cats and dogs at our 6th Annual Co****le Tournament and Block Party presented by 911 Roofing Solutions! It was a beautiful Saturday to save lives.
