Meet Penelope! She has been a resident here at Broadmoor Boarding & Grooming for about 5 months now. She is a super sweet kitty and would love to have a home again. She is 9 years old and does really well with dogs and children. She can however be a little finicky with her feline friends. Hey does anybody know this guy? He was found near LLLC last Friday and was brought in to us to see if he was microchipped. No collar, no chip. We are keeping him comfortable here at Broadmoor Boarding and Grooming until we can find where he belongs. He is super sweet and we are all in love with him but I’m sure he would rather be back home! While our staff will be in the building to care for our boarding guests, please note that check-ins, check-outs, and phone services will not be available during the holiday. We will resume normal hours of operation and full services on Tuesday, May 30th and look forward to providing exceptional care to your furry friends.

Twas the night before Christmas and all through this Broadmoor House, there are a lot of creatures stirring but not a single mouse ( well we do have a Guinea Pig guest!) Their bowls and beds are filled & fluffed with love & care in hopes that their families know we are there. The Guinea pig, kitties and pups are all nestled snug in their beds while visions of toys and treats dance in their heads. With Ali in her PJs and Sam in his cap, they are all settled down for a long winters nap.

We have a full house here At Broadmoor Boarding & Grooming! We are keeping everyone warm & cozy and of course dishing out lots of extra love for Christmas.

Today is International Pet Groomer Appreciation Day! Please help us take time to appreciate these skilled & compassionate, hardworking professionals for their patience & care with our pets.
Meet Colleen, she has been grooming pets here at Broadmoor Boarding & Grooming for 24 years! Colleen has her Animal Science Certification along with Animal Care and Handling, Fear Free Grooming as well as Skin & Coat Care Certifications. She is about to achieve Master Groomer from the National Dog Groomers Association. We are so grateful for her experience and expertise.
Meet Logan, Logan has been in the Boarding & Grooming world for four years now. She has a huge love for dogs and it has been her dream to be a dog groomer. Our Master Groomer Colleen has taken Logan under her wing and has trained her to be an excellent groomer.
We are so grateful to have both these ladies on our team! Thank you today and every day for making our fur babies spa day a happy day! Thank you for making our stinky dogs smell and look oh so good! Thank you for being patient when our stinky dogs are bad! Thank you for staring down these ferocious little beasts day after day and still coming back! It takes a very patient, brave and skilled person to do this job.

Did you know that dogs and cats CAN sunburn?!

Pets with light colored skin and thin coats are most prone to sunburn, skin cancer, and other solar-induced skin diseases.

Sunscreen can be used on pets outdoor, just make sure that it is safe for dogs or cats and does not have an injestion warning, as there are chemicals in sunscreen that can be toxic if ingested.
