*We are hiring*

We have someone else going back to school and we are looking for another receptionist. We are looking for someone who hopefully has some receptionist and/or veterinary experience. They need to be reliable, a team player, and enjoy working with clients. Our clinic is very busy so it is also important that applicants are self-driven and comfortable juggling multiple tasks. Job duties include answering phones, filing, loading appointments, checking patients in and out, filling prescriptions, shared cleaning, and more. If interested, please email us a resume with references to [email protected]. Any questions regarding the position should also be directed to the email. We will contact you either by email or phone if we feel that you would be a good fit and would like to set up an interview with you. Preference will be given to those with previous experience, but we are willing to train for the right person.

Starting August 1st, 2024, the CDC and USDA are changing the regulations for bringing animals in to the United States (even if they are returning). We do not typically do international health certificates but pets are now required to be at least 6 months of age and must have an ISO microchip PRIOR to their current Rabies vaccine. If you will possibly be trying to travel with your pet at some point, please be sure to verify that your pet is microchipped (we can do that for you) and that the microchip is on their Rabies certificate. Not following these regulations could cause your pet to be quarantined or detained and not allowed to pass through the border. Make sure that you educate yourself prior to trying to travel. They recommend starting the process 60 days before you leave!

Tri-State Veterinary Clinic is looking to add a full-time receptionist to our team. We are open Monday-Friday 7:30-5:30, and close for lunch from 12-1:30 every day. Duties include filing, answering phones, taking histories, loading appointments, checking people in and out, etc. We only have one doctor but we are very busy and our days are typically pretty fast-paced. Our hope is to find someone with previous receptionist experience that will make our clients feel welcome and attended to.

We do not offer health insurance but do offer a Simple IRA and match up to 3% of your salary after you have been employed for 6 months.

If you have questions or would like to apply, you can email your resume to [email protected]. Interviews will hopefully begin next week and we will get a hold of you if we think that you would be a good fit. Please do not message us on Facebook in regards to the position, only resumes submitted to the email will qualify as an application.

Please make sure to get medication refills or food picked up before the long weekend!
