Happy BIRTHDAY Jaxon James 💙 !!!!!

19 years ago today at 5:58 p.m. the world got brighter, ⭐️ at that moment I felt love like I had never experienced.

Jaxon there isn’t a day that goes by I don’t thank God for blessing me with you…you have been my greatest adventure, taught me more than I knew was possible, and I can’t wait to see all you get to experience, learn, and grow into the man you were meant to be! The sky is the limit, there’s nothing you can’t accomplish. I absolutely ADORE you!

Was tickled to be back running Fannie at the Xtreme Barrel Race in Queen Creek. She made three consistent runs winning some money with two 15.7’s and a 15.8 🎉Thankful she’s got so much try and she’s definitely consistent.
The futurity colts worked decent and won some money but the highlight was definitely Juddy on Coats Stoli Dinero, entering their first time and running a smooth 16.2.

Three runs in three days with over 500 runners each day was long but we learned and are sure thankful to be out here in the sunshine and getting the colts more experience! Thankful for Chuck and for their awesome hospitality and support!!

𝙇𝙚𝙩’𝙨 𝙩𝙖𝙡𝙠 𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙮.

One thing we have noticed working with a lot of the “GREAT” horses, is that they all have really bold personalities.

They have a natural confidence about them.

Often times they catch everyone’s attention, and make sure you know they’re there. However they can!

Maybe they seem a little diva-ish, cocky, and often what you may refer to as a HANDFUL.

But I think that’s what makes them great.

They’re passionate!

It’s hard to beat a horse that’s one built or bred for the job, but it’s even harder to beat a confident horse!

There is obviously a time and a place, but as your horse develops into a competitor, and really starts to step up, this is your reminder to let your horses personality shine, and I bet they become unstoppable.

Colorado Vs The World was as always an incredible experience.
SH Fireinthefastlane, Fannie 🦄, had her rodeo debut and truly hit it out of the park. I was so proud of how she handled the extreme noises and pressure rodeo creates. This mare was definitely made to be a rodeo horse. Fannie is my 6th horse I’ve taken to Denver in 25 years of running there, and I’m not sure I’ve felt one more confident in the environment. She made it back to the short round placing 3rd in The World Team, and felt amazing winning another $650 to her LTE. I knew she’d fire harder in the short round and be faster, unfortunately she caught herself running in there and we had quite the massive trip. I still don’t know how she stayed on her feet, or how I even stayed on for that matter but she’s an incredible athlete. I am so honored to have her. Any other horse I’ve been on I know would have gone down, but she kept us safe and I owe her for that. We will get her all checked out, for now she seems good happy and craving another opportunity to run.
Thanks so much for all the kind messages checking in on us. Videos trying to help figure out what happened. I am truly so grateful and thankful. I am blessed it wasn’t much worse.

SH Fireinthefastlane 🦄 made her first rodeo debut and I’m proud of her. She tried her little heart and legs out, she’s healthy, and we are blessed to be able to keep going and learning. Seasoning can be full of ups and downs, and unfortunately luck of the draw first round and a slip kept us from coming back to the perfs. However, I am thankful she’s healthy and hungry for it.

Enjoyed seeing my friends and enjoyed watching the tough set of athletes compete to their best! Thankful and grateful!! Love this sport and I love my competitors, love these gifts from God, here’s to 2025 🎆
