Why do so many veterinarians HATE dog parks?
Short answer: they’ve seen the receipts. Overcrowded chaos, zero public health measures, and the occasional off-leash drama that makes Real Housewives look tame.
Now, I get it—dog parks can be a real mixed bag. As a dog parent, I’ve experienced the highs and lows, as well as the owners who are too busy yapping on the phone to notice their dog leaving a few “presents” for someone else to find.
Enter Zoomies: Chicago’s premier indoor dog park, where chaos takes a backseat, and safety gets shotgun.
Here’s how we’re elevating the dog park experience:
✔️ Vaccines and behavior checks—because not all dogs are angels, and we like ours certified.
✔️ Trained “Bark Rangers” to keep an eye on things (and also to sound cool).
✔️ Designated play zones—big dogs here, little dogs there, and reactive dogs in their own VIP lounge.
✔️ Real consequences for bad behavior, because if your dog’s a jerk, we’re not afraid to revoke memberships.
Yes, all dog parks have risks, but Zoomies is doing everything possible to make them safe, fun, and just a little less… wild.
What do you think? Are these the upgrades dog parks need? Tag a dog parent who’s tired of the Montrose Dog Beach free-for-all. 🐾

We’ve been getting LOTS of questions about where Zoomies will be located—and we get it! 🐶💡 Finding the perfect spot is a top priority, but it’s not as simple as picking a place and opening the doors. It takes time, money, and careful planning to create the ultimate indoor dog park you’ve been dreaming of. That’s why we’re so grateful for everyone who has already joined the Zoomies VIP Club by pledging $1 to our crowdfunding campaign. Your support helps us prove to banks and investors that Chicago’s dog lovers are ready for this! 🙌
Right now, we’re focused on two big goals: raising the funds we need to secure a building and actively searching for the right location. 🏢
We know some of you might prefer to hold off on engaging until a location is finalized, and that’s totally okay—we don’t want anyone to feel pressured! For those of you who are jumping in early, you’re helping us move mountains (or, more accurately, mud puddles 🐾), and we can’t thank you enough.
If all goes to plan, we’re aiming to open our doors in November 2025, and every step of this journey is powered by YOUR belief in what Zoomies can be. 💙 Curious about how you can help? Click the link in our bio to join the VIP Club or share this post with your dog-loving friends. Let’s make Zoomies a reality together! 🐕✨

📯Time for a Quick Update📯
Finding the perfect location for Zoomies has me feeling like a contestant on a very niche episode of House Hunters: Commercial Real Estate Edition. But progress is being made! In the past few weeks, I’ve been scouring buildings, chatting with city officials, and learning more about zoning, permits, and codes than I ever thought possible. Zoning ordinance can be a bit RUFF…but we’re determined to FETCH the right answers (cue collective groan).
The dream location for Zoomies has three very important features:
✔️ Enough room for epic dog zoomies (30,000+ sq. ft.)
✔️ Parking that won’t make anyone cry
✔️ Outdoor space for summer shenanigans
Meanwhile, I’m also working on raising the funds we’ll need to make it all happen. It’s a process, but every step is one paw closer to creating Chicago’s ultimate indoor dog park for pups and their people! 🐕
Got hot tips on the perfect location? Know someone who might want to help? Slide into the comments or shoot me a message—I’m all ears (we’ve got 8 of them).
Thank you for cheering us on! Stay tuned for more updates, and have a paws-itively amazing holiday season! 🎄🐾

Happy Halloween to all the brave pups (and their humans)! 🎃👻 Enjoy this compilation of our favorite ‘Dogs vs. Decorations’ moments, featuring a special cameo from our very own Ruby! We can’t help but laugh (and feel a little sorry) for our furry friends who didn’t sign up for Halloween’s spooky surprises.
Here’s to all the fearless furballs who faced down creepy skeletons, eerie ghosts, and cackling witches with courage - or at least a speedy escape! 🐕💨
Wishing everyone a safe, treat-filled Halloween!

🏠✨ They say we have three places in life: home, work, and… that special third place. For some, it’s a coffee shop or gym; for others, it’s anywhere their dog can roam free! 🐾
We’re building that “third place” for you and your pups—a spot where your dog can run wild and you can take a breather (or maybe join in the zoomies yourself!). Think of it as your dog’s social club and your chance to unwind, sip, and connect with other dog parents. 🐶💼
The best part? Unlike work, everyone is excited to be there! 😉 Curious about what a true third place for dogs and their humans could look like? Hit play to learn more! 🎬🐕

Part 2: Why I left my job to open an indoor dog park!
After a decade in corporate life, I had one of those ‘wait, do I really want to do this for the next 30 years?’ moments.
Spoiler: I didn’t. So, Matt and I made a pact—I’d leave my job and go all-in on creating something I was truly passionate about: Zoomies, Chicago’s first indoor dog park. 🐕💡
Right now, I’m pouring everything into making this dream a reality, with our first location set to open by fall 2025. It’s been a wild ride so far, and I’m beyond excited for what’s next. If you’re excited too, help us spread the word—tell your friends, your dog-loving neighbors, and anyone who’s tired of Chicago weather messing with their pup’s playtime. 🌧️🐾 Let’s build this community together! 🐶❤️

Adopting Ruby was one of the best decisions ever but imagine our surprise when we realized there was nowhere to go when the weather got nasty! That’s when the idea for Zoomies started brewing. 🌧️🐾
Here’s part 1 of the story behind Chicago’s soon-to-be indoor dog park. Follow us to see how we’re turning this little lightbulb moment into something big!

Last week, I drove 5 hours to Des Moines to see Paws & Pints in action—and let’s just say, I left with a notebook full of ideas! 🐶✨ This place has it all: indoor and outdoor spaces, bars, a restaurant, grooming, daycare, and more. 🍻🐾
I got the chance to chat with the owners, Kyle and Megan, and learned a ton about what it takes to build a true community for dogs and their humans. Seeing Paws & Pints come to life really inspired me to think about how we can bring that same energy to Chicago. 🐕🌆
Turns out, it’s not just about the amenities; it’s about creating a place where everyone—human and dog alike—feels right at home. Chicago, I can’t wait to show you what I’ve got in store. 🌟🐾

PSA to the mud monsters: It’s not Halloween yet. 🧌 I must’ve missed that episode of Scooby Doo 😂 If your dog’s part of this dirty little club, you NEED a Zoomies membership—save your floors, your bathtub, and your last shred of sanity.
We’re rolling out presale memberships later this year, and trust me, you don’t want to miss out. Sign up for our newsletter (link in bio) to stay in the loop—because the next mud bath is coming.
Huge shoutout to @hubertthegoldenretriever for perfectly capturing the chaos! 🐶💦

Rainy days are just nature’s way of reminding us who’s really in charge—and it’s definitely not us. 🌧️😂 Between wrestling with doggy raincoats, dodging puddles, and explaining to your pup for the 100th time that, yes, they still have to go outside, it’s chaos. But we do it because we love them... 🐾👑
That’s why we’re creating Zoomies—a place where we can skip the puddle-jumping and wet dog smell, and our pups can run free without turning the living room into a mud pit. 🏃♀️🐶 Imagine a world where every day is perfect for play, no matter what’s happening outside. Because honestly, we deserve to hang up the rain jackets and just let our dogs be dogs, rain or shine! ☔️💃

🌟Team Member Spotlight: Meet Ruby, our Chief Barketing Officer at Zoomies! 🐾
Ruby comes to us from @wrightwayrescue and has been with us for 5 years. She’s an expert in all things sniffing, barking, and bunny patrol. Whether she’s zooming through the backyard or keeping us alert to every neighborhood sound, Ruby brings her A-game every day. And just like Ruby, we’re here to bring the best experience to your pups - rain or shine, bunnies, or lawnmowers.
At Zoomies, we’re all about creating a pawsitive space where your dogs can run, play, and explore to their hearts’ content. 🐶♥️
Paws up to Ruby and all the Zoomies to come! 🐕💨
