Hey all, park district has a few construction tweaks and will be in the dog park tomorrow am- Wed, 11/19 from about 7 am - ? Just a few hours but park will be closed during this time.

Nearly 30 years since our last (and only) upgrade… and Wicker Bark is officially open! 🐾
Huge thank you to everyone who helped make this happen — especially our fearless committee chair, Kristin Drutchas, who’s excited to grow the Wicker Bark Committee and launch sponsorships soon!

Dog parks are becoming one of our city’s most valuable “third spaces.” As super-volunteer Eric Robinson says, “It’s not just about dogs — it’s about creating a place to slow down, meet neighbors, and feel connected.”

Here’s to building community, one wag at a time. 🐾

Wicker Bark is officially opening November 15th! 🎀 🐶 After years of community effort and fundraising, it’s finally time to celebrate our brand new dog park. 🐾

Wicker Bark crew! If you haven’t seen this heart breaking story- see below and help out! Bam Bam needs to be home!!

‼️Bam Bam Update‼️
We want to give everyone an update with what we know about Angel Santiago’s missing dog, Bam Bam, who was stolen from his backyard in June. Since his story was picked up by news sources Angel Santiago has recieved an immense outpouring of love and assistance from the animal community, and has many people volunteering time and resources to help him. However, Bam Bam has still not been found. A police report has been filed, a pet detective has been hired, and thousands of dollars have been raised to find Bam Bam.

Organizers have created search party and word-of-mouth events to help find Bam Bam, taking place THIS WEEKEND. One will be in Logan Square and the other will be at the Lincoln Park Paraselle. If you are in the area and are interested in learning more, you can find them here:
