🎃 Everyone ready for a (terrifyingly late) Halloween event announcement? 🎃

Barks N' Rec is hosting a Dog Costume Contest on 10/31 - Halloween! 🧡 Take a photo of your pup in their Halloween costume at our store and upload it to Instagram with this in the caption: "Things are getting spooky ".

All posts with the right caption and tag will be automatically enrolled in our howling-ly awesome raffle for a $50 gift card from us! The winner will be announced in the following days on a IG Story so make sure to keep an eye out to see if you were the lucky ghoul to win! 👻 🐾

Not in a pic mood? Have no fear! We'll be handing out free treats to dogs (while supplies last) who come in, costumed or not! 🍬

🧡 It's time... Pumpkin Spice Time! 🧡

Join us and other amazing local authors, vendors and patrons (humans and dogs alike) at End of Summer Book Bash on Sunday, September 8th from 3pm - 7pm! 📖🎉

For customers who want to do some shopping at our store, we'll still be open during our normal Sunday store hours, which is from 11:00am - 5pm!

Anyway, what's our role in all of this? Well, we'll be handing out everyone's favorite seasonal drink to the pups... for free! 🌟 Barks N' Rec's very own Pup'kin Spice Lattes are made with pumpkin puree, goat's milk and whipped cream, while a dash of turmeric powder takes over cinnamon's spot at the very top - it's a spice, it counts!

Feel free to stop by and say hi as your furry companion enjoys a cup filled with seasonal deliciousness. We'll have signs, pamphlets and ourselves to talk about our locations and the services we provide, but we'll be more than happy to discuss what spot to hit up for the best plaid flannel too 😆🍂

So if you want to spend the last days of Summer with an awesome community with a knack of literature, stop by and enjoy the bash! We hope to see you and your furry friend(s) there! 🐕👋
