Great news Illinois pet parents. Any dog or cat with any immune compromising disease, disorder, condition should be exempt from rabies vaxx. Additionally, all senior classified pets (generally over 10 yrs) fall into this category as weakened or immune- compromising systems. It is well documented that seniors should not receive rabies vaxx (nor most all others as well).

Titer Test!

A new Illinois law taking effect Jan. 1 will let veterinarians renew yearly medical exemptions for pets too sick to receive rabies shots, a change supporters call common sense.
