⚠️ Tick Season is Here! ⚠️

Ticks are around all year but become more active and abundant in the warmer months. We've already been seeing a lot of ticks out there this spring!

This poor pup had 9 ticks embedded when he came in for his appointment. Ticks can transmit diseases like Lyme disease, so it's crucial to check yourself and your pets thoroughly after being outdoors.

Here at Partners Animal Hospital South Loop we carry flea and tick prevention for dogs and cats of all sizes. Don't let your pet go unprotected!

These two adorable pups are some of our many new clients, and they clearly came prepared for their first visit! Rocking some seriously stylish headwear, these furry fashionistas brought their A-game in the cute and silly hat department. We can't get enough of those floppy ears peeking out and those squishable puppy faces under the bright hats. While the hats may be goofy, these two new clients are all business when it comes to getting pets and treats from the loving Partners Animal Hospital South Loop team!

Meet James, our Practice Manager, and Edie!

James grew up in the near west suburbs before venturing to New Orleans to study Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at Tulane University. After college, he settled in the vibrant Humboldt Park/Logan Square area of Chicago, where he resides with his husband and their beloved Rottweiler, Edie.
James embarked on his career in the animal hospitality and veterinary world shortly after returning to Chicago. Following a brief hiatus, he is thrilled to rejoin a fear-free clinic, where he can continue his passion for providing exceptional care for furry companions.
When not at work, James enjoys spending quality time with his friends and family, often exploring new destinations through travel. He embraces the changing seasons by indulging in seasonal hobbies such as baking during the fall and winter months and biking and swimming during the warmer summer days.
With his compassionate nature and enthusiasm for animal welfare, James is excited to join and contribute to the growth of the Partners Animal South Loop Team.
