Canela is a 3 year old ShihTzu mix who was just surrendered to our center. Her people were moving and didn't want to take her. She is very sweet but she is also very shy. Hopefully she'll be able to find a home soon with someone who will make her feel at ease so she can grow in confidence.

Canela isn't leash trained, but she is fairly good with going potty in the yard when she is taken out on a regular routine. She is friendly with the other small dogs in center, and we expect that she would be just as gentle with cats as well. She may even be okay with kids that are calm and respectful of her space.

Cody and Riley were brothers , who both passed away on the same day.
Our hearts break for their family , because we know how much they were loved and taken care of.
