Anti-Cruelty has been in contact with shelters and other partners and stand at the ready if needed. Right now, they are urgently caring for domestic and wildlife animals, as well as reconnecting pets with their families while also working with regional partners. Many of you have asked us how you can help make a meaningful difference, here are organizations in need of immediate support:

❤️ spcaLA is housing pets of evacuees and is in need of monetary contributions during this challenging time: spcaLA.com.

🐶 Pasadena Humane Pasadena Humane has helped over 400 animals injured or displaced by the fires: give.pasadenahumane.org/fire.

🚒 Los Angeles County Animal Care Foundation (ACF) needs assistance with monetary donations to help with resource distribution in communities affected by the fires: lacountyanimals.org.

We were heartbroken for Kinzie when she arrived. It's suspected that this sweet 11-year-old senior pup had been hit by a car.

Soon transferred from MedVet Chicago after discovering she had no feeling in her front leg, we performed surgery to remove the badly damaged, painfully infected leg. With time, Kinzie started to feel better and just two days after hitting the adoption floor, she found her perfect match: a loving adopter who cherishes older dogs and has previous experience with "tri-pawds"! 🐾

Kinzie is now living her best life, proving it’s never too late for a fresh start!

This past Sunday, we had a blast at the Field Museum's Cat Cafè for a day filled with cuddles, purrs, and plenty of fun activities! Visitors got to meet some of our adoptable cats while exploring the Field's newest exhibition, Cats: Predators to Pets—an educational look into what makes a cat, a cat. We loved seeing so many happy faces (and wagging tails) come together to celebrate these fascinating animals!
