Originally adopted from Anti-Cruelty in 2017, Taffy returned to our care after her beloved owners sadly passed away. She’s been in the loving hands of her foster family and the team at Anti-Cruelty for over 400 days — patiently waiting for her second chance.

During her time in foster, Taffy has truly come into her own. She’s a gentle, affectionate, soulful girl who loves snacks, long walks, and snuggles on the couch. Her resilience is inspiring, and her heart is wide open.

💛 Taffy is about 6 years old and would thrive as the only pet in a calm, loving home where she can soak up all your attention. She’s playful, cuddly, and full of joy — ready to share it with someone special.

Penelope has been adopted! 🎉

Miss Penelope made her TV debut on WGN TV last Friday and completely stole the show—and one family’s heart.

They had no plans to adopt another dog, but after seeing her on the screen, they knew she was the one. They thought she’d be a perfect match for their chihuahua with anxiety—and they were right.

Penelope is now off to her new home, where she’ll be so, so loved.

Draco doesn’t care if you’re a Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, or Slytherin—as long as you’ve got snacks and belly rubs. (He also secretly just wants to be cuddled while you rewatch Goblet of Fire for the 12th time.)
