When the community comes together… lives change.
A devoted dog lover recently reached out to us about a gentleman who loved his dogs deeply but was struggling to care for them after some recent health challenges. His adult dogs had welcomed a couple of litters, and it had become overwhelming to provide for everyone.
With the help of an independent rescuer, the puppies were safely transported—four to Anti-Cruelty and four to a rescue partner. Sadly, it was discovered that some of the pups had been exposed to parvo. But thanks to quick action, dedicated medical care, and a lot of love, they pulled through and eventually found their forever families.
Our amazing Field Services team also stepped in to help Cocoa and Cinnamon, two of the adult dogs, get safely transported for their spay surgeries once they were healthy enough. Today, they’re looking better than ever!
Both the dogs and their loving dad were grateful for the support—from veterinary care to a generous food donation made by a kind-hearted donor.
Stories like this remind us that animal welfare work is rarely a solo effort—it’s a community coming together to give animals the brighter futures they deserve.
