Have you ever tried brushing your teeth? Suspect it's not possible? Well Pepe is here just how easy it can be (and how fun!)
We’re so proud of our Associates, who work so hard to care for your pets, and take care of the future of veterinary medicine every day. Thank you for being part of our story.
This week is Employee Appreciation week at VCA Cat Hospital of Chicago! Our theme this year is Carnival, because much like Carnival performers, our staff constantly perform amazing feats of daring that awe those untrained in their skills. Plus we have a bunch of furry clowns here all day. Join us as we celebrate our team of all-star employees and Welcome to the Greatest Practice on Earth!
This is Bella. She was a very nervous girl so we gave her a snack as distraction while she had some blood drawn. Clearly the distraction worked and Bella did not want to give up any licks of her #churu. This is just one way we strive to be a #catfriendlypractice

We hope Saturday is leaving you as happy as Zev was during his last visit. Nothing like “making biscuits” while the doctor listens to your heart.

Happy Caturday! Here’s a video of Bumper who was so excited for Take Your Cat to Work Day that he just flopped all over the front desk petting himself.
Remember our handsome Jameson? Well our sweet Jimmy went to his forever home almost a year ago. (That's why he stopped showing up here...well, that and COVID). Jimmy tried out his new home and decided he liked it better than being a hospital cat. Now he has a person all his own, and he recently discovered video games. We are so happy that Jimmy and his person are happy together and that we get to see him once and a while for vet visits.
It’s National Cat Day today, and we’ve been busy making the perfect biscuits to celebrate.
Penelope was in for a visit a few weeks ago because she wasn’t feeling well. As you can imagine, her mom was very worried. When Penelope ended up needing to stay for an enema, her mom asked Kari to give Penelope “a pep talk” so she could leave sooner. Well, Kari delivered.
So if you ever wonder what happens when your cat is admitted to the hospital, take a look at this video.
Volume up. Dillon seems a little confused by the concept of hiding at the vet. He’s a great representation of the mood for 2020 though.
Butt scritches at the vet
Tiger came in recently for a visit. Clearly he relished an opportunity to get someone new petting him. Having the same people around all day gets a little boring.
