The Rescue world is not all rainbow and sunshine!
We got the first 2 pictures over the weekend and they kept us awake for a while! The pup was missing every time we went looking for him! We tough of the worse, but we saw him today, laying helplessly with his tired body in the cemetery, ready to die!
With a broken heart, we took him over, we are drowning in debts, but how could we leave him??? 😥😥😥
We named him Kiko, he was brought immediately to the vet and turned out Leishmaniosis positive! OH NOO!! 😓😓
His initial costs today were:
protective collar not to spread illness $50
Test for Mediterranean illnesses and bloodwork $80
Wound spray $30
Quality food $100
We have a long journey ahead, and his treatment with Milteforan will cost $400

Saro is one little innocent puppy that was abandoned when he was just a few months old. He was injured by some psychopath and was left to die in the grass with wounds all over his legs😡, but luckily he was saved. Unfortunately, Saro is disabled, but the nerves aren't completely damaged and it's a miracle that he can stand on his back legs and wants to run! His X-ray images show that he has spinal fractures (the 5th thoracic vertebrae is crushed) 😒 Saro will never be a dog that can live without special care and diapers so we asked for a help from good woman Anna Leonard and they accepted to take Saro, but our task is to collect $500 to cover the trip to New Jersey where he will have a home and the necessary care.😊
To all good people - I'm asking for help, let's write another happy story together, let's save another life together! 🙏 Travel costs must be collected as soon as possible because Saro can travel on 30 September if we menage to collect the money till this date! 🙏

It is in a very bad condition😔... It is full of ticks, it has terrible anemia and infection, its skin is literally falling apart😭...

Today we found this little heart that someone had hit with a car and left to die in the street. This is terrible, he is still small, he should now run and play and grow up with love. We picked him up and took him to the vet. He has broken legs and has to have an operation. He will be in a wheelchair for a while but we will still fight for him to run again to play with friends and we will fight to find him a family that will love him and give love to this angel.
We are asking for help, let's all help this Angel together for surgery and a wheelchair and for a warm home.

I have posted this dog week ago, I asked for help to pay transport and the vet costs, after I asked for help money is raised. After days of searching for the dog, I finally found her I was to take the dog🚘!

I brought the dog to the vet, she is anemic, with infection and she is erlihia positive😞… Happly she is not leish or HW positive🤞!

She is under therapy, her condition is very bad, her skin is falling off, she can’t stay on her legs😭…

I will keep you updated, will make update in a few days🙏!

😔DEAR SUPPORTERS, BAD NEWS, POLAT HAVE TUMORS🥺…
Dear people, yesterday I was at the vet with Polat and the news are bad😞…
Polat came to my shelter months ago, after he was kicked in the center of the town and he was bleeding from his nose all the time😣.. He was brought to the vet and he came positive on anaplasmose and erlichia (bleeding from the nose is sign of that disease) and he was put under therapy💊. After the therapy the bleeding have stopped, but after a few weeks it started again, today we were at the vet, where we have made x-rays on his head and on his chest 🩻. He have nose tumors, tumors inside of his nose that are causing bleeding😔… He have lung infections too, and on the x-rays of the chest, there are a few places where the vet says it may be metastasized tumor😭! Plus his heart is very big, usually it’s smaller and the vets are running tests on that too…

The vet put the dog under therapy for the lung infection, and under CBD oil, he said that in many cases the oil have stopped the tumors from spreading so fast and it will reduce his pain💔😔…
These is no surgery possible that will help Polat to cure the tumors, the vet said that Polat will live not very long, and we will need to PTS him when the tumors grown and when he will suffer from them to not die in agony😣…

🚨Saved at the last moment...
Meet Luna, a dog that would have ended tragically and was saved at the last moment before she was shot and killed because she lost a fight😔…. I took Luna in this difficult condition at the last minute, with wounds on her body, she is dried out, from the average weight of a dog like this which is 55 pounds, she is only 27.7 pounds😭… she had a hole full of worms in her tail…
She was taken to the vet, the wounds were cleaned, the worms were removed and tests were done 🩸🧪, the blood count shows bad anemia and infection😞…. She was immediately put under therapy. Fortunately, the tests for diseases are negative, 4d test, leishmaniasis test and giardia test🔬 were done.

We need quality food for Luna, to pay off the veterinary debt and to get the medicines and vitamins she needs to receive, that's why I'm asking you urgently for help!

🆘The situation is very bad, please help🙏💔
Look at this boy, who was left on the mountain where he was starving for food beside the fact that there are restaurants🤬! The dog was there for we don’t know how long, his situation is very bad, after no one brought him to the rescues I went and took the dog under my care so he don’t die there🥺! The dog is only 10kg and it needs to be minimum 20kg😭!!!

We went to the vet today and he is leish positive so the disease is taking action💔! We have made a blood work and he is so anemic (blood transfusion may be needed) and he is not eating😭! The biochemistry will come out tomorrow morning and after that we will consult with a specialist so we can know what to do🤞! No IV fluids were given because if the kidneys are falling we can just make the situation worst so we are waiting till tomorrow morning🙏! He is drinking water only and he was eating a little by forsing him to😞!

I will inform all of you tomorrof for his situation, he is wearing scalibor now, I have payed $300 today at the vet🤞! He needs your help, his vet bill will be big, and he will need very expensive medication like milteforan if we can start that🙏! I will give all of you update tomorrow, any donations are appreciated 🆘! Plus special food will be needed as well😞!

*4d test will be done in a few days, we are waiting for tests to arrive🙏!

Poor Sylvester was merely being a kitten, exploring his surroundings with innocent delight, when a tragic misstep left him crippled and unable to move. Discarded like an unwanted toy, he was consigned to a local kill shelter - but fate had another plan for him.

When we learned about Sylvester, we knew we couldn't just stand by. His desperate fight tugged at our hearts and we instantly agreed to intervene. The sight of him was heart-wrenching: his head tilted to one side, unable to stand, walk or even eat. All he could do was roll around, being bottle-fed, and bear his fate.

We immediately sought medical help for Sylvester. Thankfully, X-rays showed no fractures, so the veterinarians commenced a regime of steroids, pain relief, and careful monitoring. Five arduous days later, we found hope kindling anew. Sylvester's spirit proved indomitable - despite his severe head tilt, he was taking tentative steps and starting to eat independently.

Today, Sylvester's journey is far from over. We aim to seek further treatment, including laser therapy and potentially chiropractic care, to improve his condition and give him the quality of life he deserves. His loving and playful nature shines through his ordeal, and it is our heartfelt commitment to ensure his future is filled with the joys of kittenhood, not the remnants of a tragic mishap.

A few days ago, a mother with 7 small puppies was abandoned.
We found them lying on the street where many cars pass by.

We sheltered them near the place, the risk of them being trampled is reduced, but that is not a solution to the problem.

After we sheltered them, the mother disappeared for 2 days. A mother would not go away from the little ones on her own will.. We looked for her in the surroundings and there was no sign or voice of her.
When she returned, it was evident that she was tied, hungry and scared.

An additional problem was that the little ones still did not know how to feed themselves, babies are just starting to eat.

They are sheltered away from the city in nature, there is a great risk for both the little ones and the mother.
We are currently not able to accommodate them in our shelter, we are looking for humane people who would allocate time, love, attention and space in their home for these innocent creatures who were thrown away as garbage by their "owner" (the mother does not have a chip).

We urgently need them to be cared for warmly and safely.

Lovely, loyal, confused he entered one of the local cafes in town and we needed to give him a chance to find his people. 🥺

Pit is a perfection in a small package, small breed, gets along with all dogs in our shelter and great with people including kids. 💚

☑️ Vaccinated and chipped
☑️ Great with other dogs and humans

☑️ 4D Tested and healthy

We would ideally seak a home with a garden and an active family who can get him tired as he still has a lot of energy.
