Reebie is this years winner of the Allied Van Lines Beacon “Better together” agent of the year award! Message to Reebie from Director of Sales, Anthony Licata “Its been a long time coming but I am proud and privileged to congratulate YOU ALL for winning this years, Allied Van Lines Beacon award for “Better Together” agent of the year! Although this award is different from the regular “agent of the year” award, this Better together award is given to the agent who displays the most acts of assistance and support to their fellow Allied agents. This could be anything from helping a driver from another agency, assisting in OA/DA work, hauling other agents shipments, allowing people from other agencies to shadow us, giving other agents referrals or loads to haul, etc. All things that Reebie does quite often for our fellow Allied agents. By receiving this award, Reebie is inducted into the “orange jacket club” which consist of previous winning Allied agents only, who vote on the winner every year.
Like I said, this award has been a long time coming. Reebie has attended the convention every year since the very first one and we had our eyes on this award ever since. My father is not one to take things personal or get upset. However in years previous, I can always visibly see the disappointment on his face when another mover won. We all have felt that this is an award that YOU, Reebie has deserved the recognition for. I’m sure many of you can remember previous years where we didn’t win, my dad would say “Reebie is like the navy seals. We are called upon when someone needs us. We get in, we get out, and we don’t ask for any recognition” For years my mom would say “Rich, if they don’t give you your orange jacket next year, I’m just going to buy you one on amazon!”. Thank fully, that is no longer necessary. Once again I want to congratulate you all and let you know that for every convention from here on out, when we get the privilege to put on that orange jacket along with the other agents in the club, we will wear it proudly with you in mind”
