Today at around 3pm a small black or grey bulldog bit a community member at the park. This person has reached out to us for assistance identifying the owner to obtain vaccination records. They did not realize at the time of the incident that the dog had pierced the skin.

They are not looking to take any action against the owner, just to understand vaccination status to make their treatment decision.

Ella is a 1.5 year old Aussiedoodle who has best friends all over the city! She especially loves her sister Leia, best friend Bocce, and everyone at Pupstars daycare. Ella loves playing with (and destroying!) all sorts of toys and tennis balls 🦴🎾 She makes friends with everyone wherever she goes, except with those Bucktown squirrels 🐿

The water 💦 IS ON! The city has turned the park’s fountain on and the water is flowing continuously to flush the pipes. If you pick the bowls up cuz your pup plays with them, all we ask is that you put them back down when you leave 🐶

Please don’t let your pup chew & destroy the hose - we’re already on our 2nd and last one and it’s only June. Did you know that the hoses and pools are DONATED to the park? The city DOES NOT provide these. We’re always accepting donations, press the blue DONATE button on our page. Thank you!

Water bowls have been cleaned and put out! Please remember to bring water for your pup with you to the park - park dept doesn’t turn the fountain on until Earth Day!
