A look back at a year with our garden goose. 👒

The goose appeared at the corner of our garden a little over a year ago after the untimely disappearance of our garden deer. Since its appearance, an unknown source has been dressing the goose as the seasons come and go! We look forward to seeing the outfit changes every month, and while the source of this well-dressed goose remains a mystery, they have become the muse for one of our garden t-shirts! Does your child look forward to visiting the goose at the corner on your daily walks? Do you look forward to seeing what sweet outfit the goose may be sporting at your next sighting?

Have you sat at the picnic table under the grape arbor and enjoyed time with friends?

Have you helped yourself to some herbs from our community herb garden? Or maybe even picked a sweet bouquet of flowers?

If you have enjoyed all of these wonderful experiences that we help bring to you and our neighborhood, please help by donating to us for future projects as well as our regular garden care. Gardeners pay for all costs out of their own pockets. We could use your support to keep the garden the lovely community space it is.

All money will be put in our Greenhouse Garden account at NeighborSpace, our parent organization, to fund our seasonal expenses and projects. NeighborSpace is a nonprofit urban land trust in Chicago that preserves and sustains gardens on behalf of dedicated community groups.
