Ok everyone today is the Hawliday Bake Sale at Famous Fidos Rescue at 3124 W. Irving Park Rd in Chicago! I opened the Christmas Cookie Sweat Shop early this year to help support the furry kids! 4 Paws and Whiskers is a completely different doggy daycare experience in Chicago. We do not believe in being indoors, at a facility or playing on a concrete pad with too many dogs. We go to beaches, parks, forest preserves and doggy trails in nearby suburbs. Pick up and drop off, as well as training is included. Boarding includes our daycare field trips, daily. There are no crates, no confiment, no aggressive dogs or inexperienced human handlers. Just lots of love, fun and safety!

Hi All, Toby's story was on Ch 7 today, he has been missing for 2 days in this horrible weather, spotted at various locations between Armitage and Pulaski all the way to Eastwood and Kedzie, please keep an eye out and call the owner if seen, DO NOT APPROACH OR TRY TO CALL OR WHISTLE, HE WILL SCARE AND RUN, JUST CALL THE NUMBER ON THE FLYER ASAP. Luckily, it's not often that one of the kids in my group has to find a new home, but it does happen, and so it is now. If I could get help from all of you guys out there to find a great little guy a home, I'd be forever grateful! His name is Scrappy, he has been a part of my group since 2012, I believe he is 6 years old. Scrappy gets along with every dog I have ever seen him interact with, he also loves cats! He is super playful and well mannered. His mom originally adopted him as a pup, but has had some recent life changes that are forcing her to make this change. I can personally vouch for Scrappy, his training, his personality and all the things that make him a wonderful friend. If you or someone you know may be interested in meeting him, please let me know. Thank you all for your help in finding Scrappy a good forever home.

It's been a while since our last post, and we have sadly lost another dear friend. Our sweet buddy Lucy passed away March 3, 2017. Lucy came to our group a few years ago, after her mom Antea adopted her as a senior dog. While we can't be sure what Lucy's life was like before she found Antea, we know for sure her last several years were filled with, love, fun and happiness. Lucy was by far, the happiest, sweetest soul, always with a huge smile on her face. Happy to share her space, toys, and treats, Lucy was such a gift to our group. She played just like all the young kids, and just as much. She retired to her grandparents house last year to enjoy much warmer weather and all the love in the world. Lucy, you will always be remembered and missed, that big huge smile on your face, your bandana around your neck and your happy sweet soul will be with us always.
