Madison rescue group looking for help in a hoarding situation

We told you there was a lot to share today, and a lot of ways for you to help. Here's another situation we are trying to assist with, a hoarding case of 40ish rabbits all living together in one room. Another prime example of why responsible pet ownership and spay/neuter is so important. We are in need of foster homes, so we can take as many as possible. SFTS provides all supplies. In addition, we have updated our wishlist as taking in this many rabbits in addition to those currently in our care will require a lot of basic supplies. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Gravity deserves so much more. He is only 11 months old and was here last summer then adopted. Sadly, he’s back—confiscated for cruelty. We’re heartbroken and angry. While we don’t know all the details, what matters is that Gravity is safe, and we’re committed to finding him the loving home he should have had all along.
Gravity is smart, respectful, and resilient. Whether he’s keeping himself entertained with toys or sitting by our side for treats and affection, he always makes the most of his time outside. He leans in for pets and shows us every day why he’s worth fighting for.

CAINE URGENTLY NEEDS A FOSTER

Location: Clarksville, TN (transportation anywhere for a foster!)
Dates: Dec. 19, 2024 – Oct. 17, 2025

Caine’s owners are both deployed, and his current caregiver is also deploying on Dec. 20. Without a foster, this sweet 3-year-old terrier mix will be relinquished and will lose his family.

Caine is the happiest, most playful pup you’ll ever meet. He loves people, kids, dogs, and even cats—he’s been known to bring toys to cats to encourage playtime! Caine is house, crate, and semi-leash trained. While he’s full of energy and enjoys walks, hikes, and dog park visits, he’s also a big baby who adores cuddles and attention.
