Chicago’s first snow has us trading sunscreen for scarves ❄️ - and remembering just how much fun we had at Uptown Live with this summer!

We spent that weekend in the heart of our community surrounded by live music, local vendors, and so many happy pups (and their humans!)! From pup cups and treats to belly rubs and fun chats with our neighbors, it was a day full of connection (and a few sticky fingers from all that whipped cream)!

We loved meeting new pet parents, catching up with familiar faces, and watching tails wag all down the block. It’s moments like these that remind us why we love what we do - building relationships that go wayyy beyond the exam room and right into the heart of Uptown!

Here’s to a cozy winter ahead, and to all the sunny, treat-filled days waiting on the other side of the snow. ☀️🐶

Our doctors and lead tech, Sam, met this week to review and refresh Wagnolia’s dermatology protocols - making sure every patient receives gold-standard care for allergies, itchy skin, ear infections, and more! All the fall allergen hits!

These sessions also help us better support you at home, with training on fear-free techniques for topical and oral meds so your pet feels calm and cared for. Part of The Wagnolia Way!

Meet Desmond 💛

This 12-week-old Maltipoo came to see us for his very first vaccines - and a little support for his city jitters! All those Chicago sounds can be a LOT for a new pup!

Desmond’s official Wagnolia diagnosis? A classic case of the Big City Scaries. 🏙️🐾

The treatment plan:
✨ Daily desensitization adventures (baby steps count!)
🩵 Positive reinforcement and plenty of cuddles
🎧 A Happy Hoodie to help with those loud sounds
🎓 Training sessions with our friends at Urban Pooch or Anything Is Pawsible

He soaked up pets from every team member and totally aced his first round of vaccines - a cutie reminder that confidence (and courage) grow one tail wag at a time!
