🚪+ 🐱 = Doorknob!

Yep, you read that right…Doorkob the cat stopped by the clinic for a tech appointment to drop
off a little ✨sample set✨ (urine + stool)...hot stuff, right?? Super necessary for wellness labs
and tracking your pet’s health! Annual urine testing helps to evaluate kidney and bladder health.

Annual stool testing checks for easily transmissible parasites - including ones that they can give
to us!

We know vet visits can be a lot, so we make sure we create a comfy, secure setup for a smooth
visit (and commute!) for pets and their humans! So Doorknob hung out in her carrier most of the
visit!

Diagnosis: Best name, best girl!
Treatment Plan: Stress-free carrier, quick appointment, and all the love from our team 💕

Big smiles in the waiting room today 💛

Sweet Molly came in with her parents for her annual Leptospirosis booster - a lil quick poke to help keep her protected from this serious (but preventable) disease!

🩺 Diagnosis: Waggy tail, healthy pup energy!

 💉 Treatment Plan: Booster, extra love from Mom + Dad, and plenty of treats on the way out ✔️

Prevention is protection, and Molly’s family is setting her up for many more happy, healthy adventures ahead!

⚠️ Warning: graphic (but super cool!) surgery imagery ahead ⚠️

Dr. Joshi + Dr. Shah scrubbed in for a cystotomy - bladder surgery -to remove a stubborn bladder stone (urolith) from our brave patient, Benny 🐾.

💡 Bladder stone facts:

They can mimic the symptoms of a UTI or a sterile urinary condition called Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disease (things like urinary accidents outside the litter box, straining to urinate, or blood in the urine)!

They can only be diagnosed with imaging like x-rays or ultrasound.

Some stones can be dissolved with a prescription diet, but others, like Benny’s, must be surgically removed!

Benny’s stone was successfully taken out and has been sent to the lab for analysis 🧪!

Post-op, he’s soaking up all the TLC with our vet tech Karina by his side - rocking his classic e-collar and still managing to look adorable even while a little loopy from anesthesia 😻.

Diagnosis: Brave boy, healthy bladder! Treatment Plan: Recovery cuddles ✔️ and extra love from his care team ✔️

He’s already on the mend and we can’t wait to see him back to his happy, healthy self soon!

COHAT cuties Soosy (black/white) and Adzuki (snuggle angel)! 🐱🦷

Soosy is patiently waiting for her exam, while Adzuki is recovering (in her carrier that she is OBSESSED with!)

Adzuki also received post-op IV fluids to keep her kidneys protected after getting two chompers extracted!

Diagnoses: Purrrfect cuties 🎀

Treatment Plan: Post-op fluids and all the blanket burritos! 🥰

In the eye of a hurricane there is…Jon inventorying endotracheal tubes! 🕺🏼

Our staff is truly incredible and they put in so much work with our patients and behind-the-scenes to keep our clinic running smoothly and efficiently! 🫶🤌

Note: Wagnolia does not reuse endotracheal tubes in order to prevent infection transmission between patients.

Bella Thorne x Trinity: Wagnolia’s favorite collab this week! 🐾🫶

Miss Bella came to visit us for her new patient exam and we fell in puppy love! We established her care together as part of her exam, updated her vaccines, and got to love on this little lady the whole time!

Dr. Shah is still accepting new patients and we’re so happy to have Bella at the top of his roster this week! 🤗

Diagnosis: Baby angel girl, with an affinity for Miss Trinity

Meet Oliver - today’s COHAT cutie! ✨🦷

Swipe to see the process of getting this guy’s pearly whites back to sparkling shape! We performed a professional scaling (plus a little live scaling for our fellow dental nerds 🪥), and during his COHAT dental radiographs we discovered TWO TEETH that needed to be extracted - something we would not have caught without X-rays!

This is exactly why COHAT exams are so so important: they help us spot hidden issues before they cause pain or bigger problems! 🦷💪

💊 Treatment plan: soft foods, extra smooches, and unlimited “who’s a good boy?!”
