Thank you to our amazing Duke Animal Hospital family for making last weekend’s Open House such a success! 💜🐾 From tours and junior vet stations to tacos, ice cream, pup cups, and plenty of laughter, it was a day full of joy and community. We’re so grateful for our incredible staff, loyal pet parents, and the many friends (two- and four-legged!) who joined us. What a blessing to share such a special day with all of you!

Found dog location Harrison & Central Park. Female, no chip, very very sweet demeanor. Appears to be approximately 3-5 years old.

Maggie is a rising 6th grader from St. Benedict School visiting with us today in our vet-for-a-day program. She got to observe procedures, use her new stethoscope to listen to a cat’s heart and even lend a hand as she learned about being a veterinarian! Thanks Maggie for a great day!

Mariah, currently a Junior at Lincoln Park High School, participated in our Vet For A Day program, immersing herself in the field of veterinary medicine. We appreciated having her and she gained valuable knowledge and experience.

Charlie is a student at Fusion Academy Evanston. We were honored that he
spent the day with us in our vet-for-a-day program observing and giving a hand where needed. We enjoyed introducing Charlie to veterinary medicine!

This morning, Dr. Maddie Benjamin and Dr. Angie Duke spent their time in the hospital doing hands-on training for advanced dental extraction techniques.
