Comprehensive Puppy Etiquette Plan

1. **Leash Management**:

- Keep the puppy on a light leash attached to your hip while indoors. This ensures the puppy stays close to you, fostering a strong bond and allowing you to monitor their behavior closely.

- This practice helps prevent accidents and unwanted behaviors by keeping the puppy under supervision at all times.

2. Crate Training
- When not on the leash, ensure the puppy is in their crate for feeding and watering. This helps establish the crate as a safe and comfortable space.

- Crate time also aids in house training by preventing unsupervised roaming, which can lead to accidents or destructive behavior.

3. Potty Training

- Choose a specific outdoor location for potty breaks to create consistency and help the puppy learn where to go.

- Attach a bell to your door and train the puppy to ring it with their paw whenever they need to go outside. This provides a clear signal that they need a potty break.

- Consistently reward the puppy with a special treat after they successfully potty outside. Positive reinforcement encourages them to repeat the desired behavior.

- Maintain a routine for potty breaks, feeding, and playtime to help the puppy adjust and understand expectations

- Be patient and consistent with training to reinforce good habits and behaviors.
