"We had such a wonderful experience with Insight! There was support from the whole team every step of the way. We were out of energy and ideas to manage Mia’s anxiety and fear based aggression but Dr. K***z helped us to feel hopeful again after our first appointment. She described multiple medication options and helped us understand Mia’s behaviors more in depth. Mia is almost like a different dog! She surprises us daily with how quickly she calms down now, sometimes even ignoring triggers! She can actually enjoy herself now too and just be a dog. More tail wags, more belly rubs, more playing. Thank you to Dr. K***z and the entire team at Insight! We are so grateful!"

Dr. K***z is without a doubt the most attentive, most present, and most communicative doctor I have ever seen. I’ve mentioned this to her directly before- I wish she could be my doctor too! While it took some time to find the right treatment plan for Milo, Dr. K***z was patient and proactive with her recommendations for how to get Milo living his best life. Hats off to Team Norman! Norman’s humans shared this about their journey with Insight: “We’re so thrilled that Norman has been able to graduate after 20 months of treatment with Dr. Ballantyne and her team. Norman was diagnosed with separation phobia and had begun struggling with aggression reactivity towards strangers and vehicles after we brought him home from the shelter. His separation phobia became so severe that he ripped the metal bars off his crate and was reaching out his crate to destroy anything he could within reach. We were very concerned for his safety and wellbeing, and were significantly limiting our time outside the home or constantly checking our cameras when we did leave. Thankfully Insight was able to find medications that helped Norman manage his fear and anxiety, allowing us to focus on training him to have more positive associations with his crate and with people passing by on walks. Now he happily eats all of his meals in his crate and heads right in when called if we need to go out for a few hours. He enjoys a tasty frozen Kong and relaxes, and we don’t have to worry about rushing home! He’s also significantly improved on his walks and can allow people to pass him even within a few feet while he enjoys sniffing a patch of grass. When we started coming here we couldn’t have imagined Norman reaching this point. We’re beyond proud of his progress and deeply grateful to the entire Insight team for helping us get here. We’re looking forward to continuing Norman’s training and seeing just how much he can grow.”
