Got long lines?? Arguably the most useful and versatile training tool on the market, a long line can give shy dogs the freedom to explore novel environments on their own terms, play a critical role in developing off leash attention and responsiveness, and allow you to practice distance cues and exercises safely in unfenced outdoor locations. 🌳🌳🌳🐕🎾🎾🎾

Argo was so much fun to work with. We enjoy preparing “diamonds in the rough” like him for successful adoptions.

This is Chelsea. She has been living at See Spot Run for a while now and is in need of a foster without other animals. She has struggled with on-leash reactivity, mainly toward other dogs, but has shown improvement with training. We’ll be posting video of her this week, as well. Please contact for further information.

Consistent productive exposure to new people, environments, and activities is important for all puppies, but it’s critical for breeds with guarding or “protective” tendencies. Fear of novelty can manifest as aggression toward unfamiliar people or stimuli in adulthood. This 20 week-old Cane Corso puppy is gaining confidence in new environments. She is also learning to look to a trusted person for information and guidance, when confused or concerned.

Alvin is visiting for a few days and asked us to mention that he is adoptable through MCP Rescue. Alvin is shy at first, but very sweet, and is currently living in foster with another dog and kids!
