We have some very sad news to share this morning. Yesterday, May 30, 2024, Connecticut State Police Trooper First Class Aaron Pelletier #536 of Troop H - Hartford was tragically killed in the line of duty. 🕊️💙

TFC Pelletier was on a traffic stop on I-84 east in Southington, prior to exit 31, when he was struck outside of his cruiser by a passing vehicle who then evaded the scene. The evading operator was located shorty thereafter and taken into custody.

TFC Pelletier was a member of the 125th Training Troop and a K9 handler to K9 Roso. TFC Pelletier made the ultimate sacrifice while protecting and serving the citizens of Connecticut. Our hearts are with his family and friends. Thank you for your service, rest in peace TFC Aaron Pelletier #536 💙🖤💙
