When I first came to Felines Inc way back in 2001, there wasn't much thought about our Adoptions Program since we only averaged 41 adoptions PER YEAR!!! I decided to put some effort and thought into changing that and one thing that I always stressed was that once a Felines/Felines & Canines animal, always an F&C animal. Earlier this year, I rolled out our GUPPY, Gently Used Pup Program, as a marketing tool to help assist in placing dogs that have come back to us through no fault of their own. Although a pup who left as a puppy and is returned 1,3,5 years later is far more challenging to place and forgetting about them much easier, I am enormously proud of the staff for ensuring they "don't lose their s**t" while in our care. The staff works with these awesome pups to keep them stimulated and train them so when their next forever home comes, they are ready and we never give up.
This is a very long post to say this- YAY GUPPY ASTRO!!!
We're so proud of and happy for you! BOOYA!

This is Roadie. He was failing miserably as an outdoor stray and wracked his little brain trying to figure out how to become an F&C resident. He figured it our pretty quickly and is the newest member of the FIV Ain't No Thing Club. He's a 2 year old derpy slightly cross eyed boy who loves everybody and will even tolerate binge watching Married at First Sight...any country...

To celebrate National Dog Day, we snuck another pup onto our transport! Please welcome Carrot to F&C and share her pic and story so she can find her forever home! Yay Carrot!

Carrot is such a humble tenderoni! She can be so bashful and submissive when she first greets you - rolling over on her back and giving you her belly. It’s beyond precious. But as soon as she realizes she’s safe, she is such a wiggly, playful, silly girl! She absolutely loves to party with the other small dogs and play spirited games of tag. She’s very quiet and well-mannered in her kennel and seems to really enjoy being held and loved on. She’s the most darling little lady who will be a super loving BFF.
