Chicago, IL – Adopt Coal the Blue and White Pit Bull Terrier
Coal is a happy, sweet, and playful, two-year-old, 50-pound, male blue and white Pit Bull Terrier looking for a loving guardian.
Coal came into Chicago Animal Care and Control the day after Christmas 2024. Found stray on the far south side of Chicago, this super nice boy loves people and is tail-waggingly friendly both with dogs as well as cats. He is currently living in a foster home with a dachshund and two cats and doing great! He sleeps on the floor in the bedroom and his foster mom no longer crates him.
Coal loves treats and will sit automatically for them. And, then he may jump in your lap.
He’s great in the home, housebroken, loves squeaky toys, nice on car rides (especially the one that drove him from the shelter to his foster home), and even good on leashed walks.
Coal is now healthy, neutered, up-to-date on rabies, distemper and Bordetella vaccines, micro-chipped, heartworm-tested and on monthly preventative. His adoption fee of $200 benefits the rescued pets of Friends of Petraits Rescue.
If you are interested in meeting and possibly adopting Coal, please fill in an adoption application at https://friendsofpetraits.com/dog-adoption-application/ and follow up by contacting [email protected] to make an appointment to meet him.
He is currently being fostered in Elmwood Park, a suburb just west of Chicago, Illinois.
