AQUATIC WORLD IS LOOKING FOR A FULL TIME IN STORE / OUTSIDE AQUARIUM SERVICE TECHNICIAN.
OUR IDEAL APPLICANT SHOULD HAVE A GOOD KNOWLEDGE OF THE FOLLOWING:
- FRESHWATER AQUARIUMS, FRESHWATER PLANTS, SALTWATER AQUARIUMS, LIVE CORAL, AND INVERTEBRATE CARE.
- EXPERIENCE IN RETAIL AQUARIUM STORE, HATCHERY, OR PUBLIC AQUARIUM PREFERRED.
- APTITUDE IN SCIENCE, ART, AND DESIGN.
- STRONG INTERPERSONAL SKILLS REQUIRED.
- MUST HAVE A VALID ILLINOIS DRIVER'S LICENSE AND A CLEAN DRIVING RECORD.
- MUST HAVE GOOD HEARING, VISUAL ACUITY, AND BE ABLE TO LIFT 90 LBS.
- MUST BE WILLING TO WORK WEEKENDS AND SOME HOLIDAYS.
- MUST BE FLEXIBLE AND MAY BE REQUIRED TO WORK UNUSUAL HOURS OR ON UNSCHEDULED DAYS DURING EMERGENCY TYPE CIRCUMSTANCES.
- MUST ANSWER THE FOUR SCREENING QUESTIONS AS A FIRST STEP FOR APPLICATION.

Hey ALL! We are getting lots of phone calls from people we do not know to take their unwanted fish in because people are moving. Unfortunately, we do not have room. Apologies. We would have to quarantine any fish that come in, and we already use our quarantine tanks for the fish we bring in. If you are a current service customer and need assistance, give us a call.
