❄️ How Cold is Too Cold to Walk Your Dog? 🐾

Winter adventures are fun, but freezing temperatures can be risky for your pup! Here’s a quick guide to keep your furry friend safe:

🌡️ Above 45°F: Perfect walking weather for most dogs. No worries, just enjoy!

🌡️ 32–45°F: Some dogs, especially smaller breeds or those with short coats, may start feeling chilly. A sweater or coat can help!

🌡️ 20–32°F: Time to be cautious! Watch for signs like shivering, whining, or lifting paws. Limit walks for sensitive breeds.

🌡️ Below 20°F: 🛑 Danger! Frostbite and hypothermia are serious risks. Stick to quick potty breaks and keep walks short.

🐾 Cold Weather Safety Tips:
✔️ Protect their paws with booties or balm to prevent damage from ice and salt.
✔️ Dry them off after walks to avoid chills.
✔️ Pay attention to their behavior—if they seem uncomfortable, head back inside.

This teeny tiny bundle of joy is a 7-pound Chi with a heart full of love! 💕 At just 4 years old, Elsa is ready to leave her past behind and find a forever family who will spoil her with all the love and cuddles she deserves.

Elsa recently escaped shelter life in Kentucky and is now living it up in a cozy foster home in the city, where she’s been thriving and showing off her gentle, loving personality.

She’ll be available for adoption later this week through in Batavia, and she’s hoping to find her perfect family just in time for the holidays. 🏡🎄
