Hello, we will be doing some landscaping this weekend here at the clinic. If you are coming to pick up medications from “The Hut” and there are cones at the end of the driveway please proceed with caution. If for any reason cars cannot pull into the parking lot be on the lookout for a tote at the top of the driveway. We hope you have a great weekend!

Spring is here and so are the ticks! We have some really good rebates going on right now for flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. Give the office a call and we can get some together for you! (Even though there is snow on the ground Dr. Mara found a tick on one of his tulips!) Anyone want to guess how many tulips he planted last fall?
PS: the savings we have currently are better than online!

We will be closing at 10 am, Friday 12/22
We will remain closed for Christmas on Monday 12/25 and Tuesday 12/26.
Normal hours will resume for Wednesday 12/27 through Friday 12/29

Ticks come in all sizes! Some much easier to see than others. Ticks are out and moving anytime it is above 32*F. This is why we recommend year round prevention. Pictures below are two different sized ticks we found today!
PS: the small one is an adult tick! The nymphs are half the size

We are closed on Monday for Columbus Day as well as next Friday October 13th as Dr. Mara is taking a much deserved day off!(in his mind) If you need any medication refills please call today before 130pm, or Tuesday-Thursday next week. Dr. Balch will not be here tomorrow July 19th, and as you may know, Dr. Mara does not work Wednesday afternoons. So, when Dr. Mara is done with appointments at noon and leaves, the rest of us will be sneaking out of the office at 12:30 PM. The 4th of July is approaching, so we want to remind everyone to give us a call soon if your dog is scared of fireworks and requires medication. We will be closed from 7/1-7/4 so don’t wait to call! Also make sure your pets have a form of identification on them like their collar and tag in case they get separated from you. Dogs have a fight or flight response, so even if they do not typically run away, they may bolt if they are startled. Have a safe and happy 4th! 🎆 🇺🇸
