💔🌈 In Loving Memory of Jodi 🌈💔
Today, with very heavy hearts, we share that Jodi has crossed the rainbow bridge.
Many of you followed her story and rooted for her from the day she arrived in August. After a not-so-fortunate life used as a breeding mom — yes, this is where so many purebred puppies come from — we were determined to give her, and the two other breeding moms transferred with her, the happily-ever-after they always deserved.
Soon after arriving, Jodi was diagnosed with late-stage kidney disease and was immediately started on a prescription diet. In addition to the kidney disease it was also discovered that Jodi also had Insulinoma. Even though we knew her time might be limited, we promised her that every day forward would be filled with comfort, dignity, and love — and thanks to all of you, that promise was kept.
We want to sincerely thank everyone who showed Jodi such immense love and support during her time with us. She was truly fortunate to have a whole community cheering her on.
A very special and heartfelt thank-you goes to Paul, who fostered Jodi during her final weeks. He gave her the perfect, spoiled “forever-home” experience — soft beds, warm meals, gentle hands, and all the love a dog could ever wish for. She left this world knowing she was cherished.
Run free, sweet Jodi 💕Your story touched many hearts, and you will never be forgotten. We hope you are romping through those fields with endless amounts of tennis balls. We love you🐾
