Tail rides, works Cattle, and works at the ranch as well as runs the office and daily operations. Riding 20 years

McKenna ( Kenna )-
A TIP Mustang trainer and placing in the Arizona TIP challenge in 2018. Kenna rides and teaches for a local Non-profit horse rescue here in Chico. She is also

a Core high student in the FFA and 4H programs. Casey (CJ ) -
A TIP Burro trainer and placed in the 2018 TIP challenge in AZ working with the wild Burros program. Casey has 2 BLM Burros here at RLS, Beaker, and Silent Bob also known as the Donkey Mafia. Casey attends PV High, Plays Football, and is a former Shasta 4H archery group and Goats project member. He works around the ranch helping with odd jobs as needed. Riding 3 years.

We had a great time hosting Freedom Riders Farm Day! Of course it had to rain but the kids had fun riding ponies and playing with the chickens, goats, bunnies and of course the horses.

Been getting lots of calls from friends. Yes the fire stared here in Chico just a few miles from the Ranch. We are in the evacuation warning and have been since Wednesday night. Made the decision to move all the horses to the evac shelter just to be safe. Was up for 46 hours slept last night inb2 hour shifts so I could check on the mountains and see if anything was moving our direction and so far it's been moving north and east. There is a flair up and it's heading south towards Paradise God knows they don't need another fire there so keep them in your prayers. It will be another long night on fire watch but we are safe for now and are go bags are ready.
