It's time for the Great Pyrenees National Specialty and the unveiling of my newest colored pencil creations that will be available for sale during the Specialty in Matamoras PA. The first piece I titled "Snow Puppies". What's not to love about adorable Pyr puppies. Puppies and snow just seem to go together naturally.The original and Limited Edition prints are 8"x11" and will be available for sale as well as double matted 8"x10" miniprints and notecards. Abbey's puppies are growing up 💗🌼

Pyrs were bred centuries ago to work with shepherds and herding dogs in the Pyrenees Mountains, the natural border between France and Spain. The Pyr's job was to watch the flock and deter predators, whether wolves, bears, or livestock rustlers. Their innate patience came in handy when sitting atop a freezing-cold mountain for days on end with nothing to do but look at sheep. Their courage when defending the flock is legendary.🐾
