Here is our Adoptions Ameowncement for the last few weeks - 8 sweet and sun-shiny kitty souls found their forever hearts in their humans
Blossom #264
It’s not hard to fathom why this tender-hearted girl wouldn’t be the center of attention – while slightly shy, Blossom really DID blossom here and slowly unfurled her true nature to show up as the sweetest little tiny-meower with the curious face who couldn’t bear to see someone sitting alone. She quickly melted hearts, especially that of Sara, who couldn’t stand the thought of leaving without applying to add this little love nugglet to her life. Good job, you two!
Biscuit #265
Stunning long-locked Biscuit is perhaps one of the most aptly named cats we have had the pleasure of caring for here. She patted the most tiny and softest biscuits on people’s arms, being very careful to not dig her claws in and sweetly sniffed the arm first almost giving tender kisses. Never one to shy away from the offer of luxuriating in a lap, Biscuit spied a heart and lap in Chase, who happily bought up the order of biscuits he was being given and decided to take her home and make her his own.
Aeries + Arya #266 & #267
These two sister-brother fluffernutters know how to serve up their own version of down-home charm, born on a farm out in Hamilton City. Mostly keeping to themselves when they first arrived, their quick purrs and gorgeous floof preceded them – hey you can’t hide well when you have 5 pounds of fluff sticking out from under your chosen cabinet! Their reclusiveness and easy-going super-purrs got Finn and Broderick’s attention, who felt like they already belonged in their life the moment they met.
Ollie #268
Sweet and social snugglet Ollie didn’t let the fact that his kitty mama abandoned him when he and his 3 siblings were newborns interfere with his quest to find his forever humans. Ollie loves cozying up to guests and charming his way into laps, so much so that when Ashley and Jonathan met him, they just couldn’t let him go.
Ivy #269
What Ivy lacks in stature, she more than makes up for in s***k. She is always front and center, little miss personality – the feline personification of the movie Everything Everywhere All at Once, if Ivy wasn’t there, it didn’t happen LOL. Her trade secret? Eye contact, as Grace quickly discovered when she visited. This little spitfire wouldn’t let her advert her eyes, and once she was locked and loaded, it was a done deal.
Sunny Boy #270 and Smoky $271
Instant brothers-from-other-mothers, their strengths and weaknesses play off of each other well: Sunny’s sunny and goofy ginger cat personality (a trait we ALL love here) coupled with Smoky’s more quietly reserved way of seeing the world. Two different kitties, one heart and when Issaah visited them, they caught his heart and with a swish of their tails and a slow blink at each other, they knew they snagged their forever person.
Thank you, each and every one of you, who chose to add these special babies to your lives - two (or more) lives were made better today!
