Int. Ch. Briggus Princess and her owner, Hinson Stiles, in Mr. Stiles home during the early months of her campaigning, against a background of her trophies and with an oil painting by T. J. Finley. Eng.

Ch. Briggus Princess was imported by Mr. Stiles on January 1937, following negotiations by Thomas M. Gately, one of America's best known Terrier men.

"Peggy" won her American title in three shows in eight days and compiled the greatest record of Airedale wins by any bitch in the history of the breed in America. Her record remained in effect for over 20 years. Shown in the United States and Canada over a period of 18 months she won six All Breed Best in Show, three Specialty Shows, nine Group firsts, 28 Group placements and was Best of Breed 37 times. With fewer shows at that time and very intense competition her record is most impressive. Mr. and Mrs. Gately point out that she was one of the finest showers in Airedale records and her career is a tribute to their skill. Colorized by The Vintage Airedale
