The hospital will be closed for additional remodeling this upcoming Saturday 1/11 and next Saturday 11/18. We will still be open Monday through Friday 8am-6pm for exams, surgeries and prescription pickup!

Whiskey is so excited to announce that we are back open! Our hours will be altered again next week for New Year's, so please call us in advance if you need a refill of your pet's medication or prescription diet.

Our pets practice their begging faces all year for Thanksgiving.
Unfortunately, vomiting, diarrhea, Pancreatitis, and foreign bodies (blockages from stuck bones) are commonly seen after holidays when pets eat food they aren't used to. While snacks in moderation are Ok, it's important to consider what is in a typical Thanksgiving dish.

Green beans are normally an awesome snack for our dogs, but green bean casserole (a staff favorite) is packed full of extra tasty ingredients that may cause more harm than help! Adding plain cooked green beans to your pet's dinner is a safe addition that will make them feel included on this delicious holiday.

Storms of any degree can be frightening for our pets, but this one is really something else!
Pets may react very differently than they usually do when under stress. After a big storm like this one, local shelters tend to see an influx of stray pets that escaped their home while in a state of panic. Thankfully, pets with current microchip registration have a much higher chance of being reunited with their family.
If you are unsure if your pet's microchip is registered, give your vet a call so they can help you locate the proper microchip company your pet is registered with!
