Welcome Olio to the Resolute Pack!
This little one was recently rescued by he is in a great foster home and getting his vaccinations done.
I did an evaluation and training session with him today. What an absolute love. He is going to make someone a fantastic companion.
He is a golden retriever X great pyrenees two of my favorite breeds.

Captain and I spent the morning at Oroville Post Acute Care, visiting the patients and staff. He did a great job, so I took him out to the lake to swim after. He is happily napping now.

Our therapy teams were out yesterday and today, serving local first responders.
We strongly believe that dogs help with stress management during a crisis. We also place serving our community as a top priority.
We are so happy to be teamed up with Butte Strong to facilitate making connections with those who benefit from our program.

Training a service or therapy dog is a journey. If you think you can rush through, you will be disappointed.
Some dogs don't make the cut.
Some handlers don't make the cut.
The average service dog takes upwards of two years to pass the basic exam. This program is community-based because of the dynamics and demands of service dog training. I keep it small so I can personally care for and mentor each team.
Is it the most profitable way to do dog training? No way
Is it the fastest way to do dog training. Nope
But when people graduate, I don't worry about their ability to work as a team with their dog.
