Don't forget our meeting is tonight at 6:30 pm at the Chico Grange Hall 2775 Nord Ave. We will be holding our 2025 Election for our Officers and Board Members.
Our agenda will include plans for the Spring training classes including discussion of new class options, and updates on our show plans.
Please plan to attend this meeting in order to vote and participate in plans for 2025.
We will plan to have the meeting available on zoom as well please reach out if you need the link!
If you have not renewed your membership it is now due, as we prepare our 2025 roster! We look forward to growth and new opportunities in 2025!

Please join us tonight for our annual holiday meeting at Round Table Pizza on Mangrove (Chico). The meeting starts at 6:30.

We will invite nominations from the floor for officer and board member positions for the 2025 election. We will also be discussing the format of our 2025 show(s), a critical decision that will impact our club. Should we combine conformation and obedience/rally events, or should we hold them separately? Your attendance is strongly encouraged to ensure the best representation of our club's interests. We will also seek volunteers to chair these events.

*Manners is a great option for the everyday pet! Every single dog could benefit from this class regardless of your situation. Gloria Post is offering these fantastic classes at a price you cannot beat! How could you pass this opportunity?

*As one of the world’s most famous basketball players, Michael Jordan, once said, “Talent wins games, but teamwork and intelligence win championships.” When you participate in an AKC Rally event, you get to show off both: Your dog’s talents and the teamwork between you. All dogs are welcome to participate in AKC Rally, whether purebred or mixed breed. It’s a perfect starting point for those who are new to canine sports. Come check it out!

*The official term for dog shows is conformation — as in, the act of conforming or producing conformity. During our conformation classes, you and your dog will learn and practice how to prepare for show!

We're thrilled to announce a hugely successful return of the Butte County Kennel Club's dog show this weekend!

A big thank you to our amazing exhibitors, handlers, breeders, and owners for making the show a tail-wagging triumph! We were lucky to have a fantastic panel of judges and some pawsomely tolerable weather, considering the location. ☀️

Our deepest gratitude goes out to the dedicated members who volunteered their time to set up and manage the show throughout the weekend. We also want to thank the Butte County Fair for providing a top-notch venue for us.

Here's to many more years of hosting unforgettable dog shows... and perhaps cooler weather next time! 🌞😎
