Missing Animals Database of lost & found in the Camp Fire Paradise...

This group's mission is the rescue and reunification of Camp fire pets in Butte County. This is a local group as established in Chico, Paradise and surrounding area. The purpose of this group page is to work collectively with the organizers of the Butte County Animal Rescue efforts.

As initial responders to the incident that took place in our community, we have worked long difficult hours to care for the misplaced animals that have flooded the shelters. A barrage of agencies from NVADG, Butte County Animal Control, IFAW, Butte Humane, Wags and Whiskers, Caring Choices to name a few, have worked to provide stability for the animals as well as the responding families.

This is a difficult effort and the collection of accurate information is essential. The collection of animal photos, intake information, veterinary care and hospitalization is imperative. The rescue organizations are continuing to improve this endeavor.

Unfortunately, it was recognized that this incident would take a life of its own with our pets and loved ones. Sadly, the organizations enlisted to help are overburdened with the tasks at hand. With this said, it is imperative to empower the victim families, to organize the intake information and deliver it to the hands of the volunteers who can connect the missing animals to their families and pet owners. This can only be accomplished with direct images, animal identification, chip registration if available, contact emails, phone numbers and location whereabouts if available.
