Halfway Home Cat Rescue Inc. We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit rescue group dedicated to the care and adoption of cats and kittens.

We have approximately twenty wonderful foster homes in Western Mass. All of our cats and kittens are fostered in safe, loving homes until appropriate forever homes are found. Our foster kitties are part of our families-- they do not live in cages.

Pasadena Humane has taken in hundreds of displaced pets and this amount is growing every day.

Samantha has blossomed into a wonderful and caring baby!! She is still very young at only about 1 1/2 yrs old! She LOVES the baby in the home!! She watches over him and when he cries she comes running and makes him smile and laugh!! She loves having another cat to play and hang with. SPECIAL FOSTER to ADOPT needed!

INTRODUCING ~ Hope 🕊️

This beautiful 1-2 yr old girl is looking for a unique home. Hope needs a home that is willing to be a long term foster with the goal of her being adopted.

Hope sustained an injury from abuse that resulted in her leg needing to be amputated.

She is wonderful now as she is not on any meds and has no cone or crate. It is not anticipated that she will need any other additional medical intervention, only unconditional love💕

Hope is learning how to center her remaining front leg to get around better, but spends most of her day lounging in her chair. She is sweet, loving and gentle. She started playing a little, but really just wants to curl up and be loved all day.

INTRODUCING ~ Penny

Penny is a sweet older girl (around 9yo) who is a little wary of other animals but with her humans, she is the best snuggler and lap kitty you’ve ever seen! She is a beautiful gray short-haired tortie but the camera doesn’t show her off well! She would be best as an only cat or with one or two other senior cats. Once she sits on your lap and starts purring, you might never get up! As she is older, she’s looking for a loving owner to give her a little TLC and help her through her anxiety from her past.

We have helped over 410 kitties 😱

164 kitties were stray
191 kitties were owner connected
55 were born in foster care

Additionally we have another 32 that are currently being cared for and several that we lost along the way

UPDATE ~ adopted 12/22 Henry is the last of his siblings to be adopted! As you can see he never stops moving so pictures are a challenge 😹 INTRODUCING~ Henry This beautiful 4 mth old boy is a real people cats. He immediately crawl up in your lap and craves attention. Henry is somewhat vocal, but at a low volume. He truly wants to go to his forever home! DM to apply

UPDATE ~ adopted 12/20 Randy and Lahey are teaching the resident kitten how to “help” wrap presents 😹 These 12 week old babies would love to go to their forever home this weekend! INTRODUCING ~ Randy & Lahey! These 10 week old teeny tiny brothers will be ready for their forever home really soon Randy spends his day climbing the cat tree and running laps around the house anytime after noon (he’s not a morning kitty) Lahey is more quite keeps to himself but will play with Randy. He doesn’t often seek out attention but will sit on the couch next to you and let you know when it’s dinner time. We haven’t found a toy they don’t like but they are huge fans of window hammocks and cat trees. They also thrive with the older kitties in the house and would love another home that has kitties to mentor them. It is not required though. They are looking for a quiet home as loud noises do startle them. Older children only. Dogs would be OK as long as they are on the calmer side. DM to apply More photos in the comments

UPDATE! Adopted 12/21 Binx says~ look at me play! I really want to go to my family as I’m super cute! INTRODUCING ~ Binx! Binx is an amazing 1 year old boy! He does have Special needs as he is FIV+ and he limps from an old injury. Despite his limp he easily jumps up on cat perches and furniture. Jumping down does seem to bother him and there are no stairs in his foster home. He will need his litter box on the same floor until you see if he can go up/down stairs comfortably. Binx loves to be carried, very affectionate and playful. He hid the first month, was very clingy the second month, and now that he feels secure he is playful, too. Binx will do great with other cats and older children only. DM to apply

Thanks to all of your support we were able to find homes for 55 kitties this past fall! Looking outside and seeing the snow makes me grateful that they are not dealing with it. Thank you for all you do to support us. #halfwayhomecatrescueinc

Happy Thanksgiving YAM Update Yam’s sternum shifted this week which required him to return to the ER, be put under, and he needed his little chest plate tightened . He’s been through SO much since we got Him. We need to raise the money for his treatments and surgeries. Please tap the link below to read Yam’s story and give.
