On and in continuation of National Immunization Awareness Month, we’d like to remind animal owners to protect against mosquito-borne illnesses, such as heartworm disease, West Nile Virus, and others, by keeping their animals up to date on vaccinations and using preventative medications.

You may have seen or heard about the GBHS suspending services yesterday, and/or heard about the virus - Canine Pneumovirus - that caused it. While it is not a fatal sickness in dogs, there is no vaccine and currently, the only treatment is for symptoms. Contact the clinic if you have any concerns with your pet.

The Childersburg Pet Clinic will be open for normal business hours (8am-4pm) both Tuesday and Wednesday. The clinic will be closed Thursday, July 4th through the weekend for the Independence Day holiday. Dr. Moulin will be out of town and unavailable during this time.

The Childersburg Pet Clinic is currently searching for a reliable and responsible individual to fill the position of Kennel Manager. The successful candidate must demonstrate dependability, maturity and a strong work ethic, as well as the ability to maintain a clean and hygienic environment for our furry friends.

Have you noticed your cat being sluggish? Has your cat slown down the older they get?

🐾 Everyone meet Bubba! 🐾

Bubba is almost thirteen years old. Last year, Bubba’s owner noticed that her senior was slowing down. He stopped jumping up on the couch and he quit playing with all of his toys. Which is incredibly strange for Bubba!

We suspected that Bubba was having arthritis troubles, which is a common issue among many senior pets.
