Hermann here is tired of his 9-5 and would really like to get out if the shelter and into retirement at a FURever home 🥰💼
Hermann has quite the personality and is such a fun coworker. He is our office cat so he has free range of the shelter throughout the day “helping” us work! As much as he loves working here he’s ready to retire at the ripe age of a year and a half. He’s looking for a nice couch to lounge around on all day and some people he could follow and become a shadow. He loves everyone he meets and is such a cuddler! He is FIV positive which won’t require any extra vet care. We recommend looking into FIV before getting a cat with this condition especially if you have other cats. FIV cats can be together with other cats but you have the risk of spreading it to your cats. They don’t require extra vet care but if they do get sick it might hit them worse and be more serious then any normal cat. Overall they are normal cats and can live a king happy healthy life!

We all know and love her, she’s been here forever. Aurora has become a staff favorite here as she’s a sweetheart and loves attention. She loves everyone she meets and is a great playmate. She loves anything you throw from balls, to frisbees to even rope toys! Aurora is looking for an active home and would prefer a fenced in yard to run around in. She does good with other dogs around her size but has a very high prey drive and doesn’t do good with cats or livestock and we don’t recommend small dogs with her as well. Piper and dash are a bonded pair looking for their FUR-ever home! These two sweeties came to us back in march of this year. They were originally adopted from us when they were just little babies but their original family moved so they came back to us. Dash is a little bit of a trouble maker! Always looking for toys to play with and places he can go into where he shouldn’t be such as our blanket cabinet. Piper is on the shyer side and will need time to warm up to her new home. Maggie when she hears someone’s interested in her! Maggie Mae is a sweet 9 year old golden doodle. She has a lot of energy despite her age! Once she runs around the yard a couple times she’s happy to come snuggle up and take a nap. Maggie would do best in a home with no other pets. She loves all people and kids! She has had a few applications but they all fell through as they had other pets. Since she loves to run she needs to have a fenced in yard. Sergeant is available! He still needs some work as he is nervous around strangers. He seems to like women better then men. Sergeant will need a few meet and greets before he goes home. He does have some reactivity issues but we’re working on it! This man loves his tennis balls as long as you don’t take them from him. He came to us as a stray. He was dumped on the side of the road with a pile of food. He had a really bad skin infection which were still working on clearing up but will be good to go before you take him home. He is currently getting medicated baths (this is what he does after baths 🎥) and really loves the hose! After catching the water for a while he’ll patiently let you sudds him up and rinse him off. He know sit and shake and is very food motivated so he could probably learn a lot more! He walks nice on a leash which is great given he is 110 lbs! We wouldn’t recommend children with him since he does seem to be a bit of a resource guarder. We haven’t tried him with another dog but through the fences he doesn’t seem to mind them!
