Worked on this monster Red Stag today....these animals are HUGE. Makes me look small in comparison. At 6'7", this bad boy made me feel short. Many more of these beautiful creatures to come. Best job ever!

We're back from the New England Taxidermy show and to my surprise, I was awarded "The Artisan" award. One of the most coveted awards in taxidermy. This is a huge milestone in the beginning of my career. I couldn't be more pleased!

To all my clients and friends....
It has been a long road for me to get to this point. But as many know, I never give up. I went to the Michigan Taxidermy show and did very well for my first show ever. 3 blue first place and one red second place. The show was amazing, I learned so much and am so thankful for the opportunity to have done it. Next is our Maine show. Hope to do well there as well.
Now on to some even more exciting news, I'm expanding the shop! I hope to get started this summer. Now that being said, I do apologize in advance for any delays that make occur in you getting your mount back quickly. Please understand this is a much needed expansion and it will work better to serve all my clients in the foreseeable future. Please understand I only have my 2 hands for now and haven't forgotten anyone's mounts. Please don't call and ask where it is and when it will be done. I know you're excited to have it back as I'm just as excited to get it back to you, but I have a large client base and do my best to accommodate everyone. I will be in touch when your mount is ready. Thank you for your patience and we hope to see you all in our new expanded showroom very soon.

Today's progress is slow. It's incrediblely time consuming to make a rock. What y'all think so far? More to come on this one.

After yesterdays work was dry and complete...it looks graphic now, but when it's put on the mount, it will be toned down. All sculpted from foam and made by hand. This mount will be one of my absolute best. Going for the blue ribbon!!! More to come....

This big ol' boy heads home tomorrow. What a beautiful animal. 1000 # Maine Bull moose. The photo doesn't really lend to how truly huge these critters are. Absolutely massive.
