Somebody adopt corn!

We can’t believe that no one wants our boy Corn!🌽❤️

This handsome boy came to us last fall as a stray and was never claimed. He is now estimated to be close to 2 years old and is some sort of Lab mix. He needs a home with no children. He does well with other dogs, especially those who match his size and energy. He is still working on his general manners, but has completed training courses in the past. He is incredibly intelligent and loves to work on his commands, he is very food motivated. He needs a strong owner who will continue to guide him in the right direction. He is a wild boy who loves to run and play, he needs a family who will properly release his energy so he can continue to become the best boy that he can be. He is a super affectionate and loving pup, loving all adults that he meets and thriving with structure. We know his perfect home is out there!

Sq**rt!!! Somebody please help him

Sq**rt needs a home! ❤️

Sq**rt is a 7 year young Chihuahua mix. He has not had the easiest life, Blue Chip is now his 4th home. His life has lacked stability and has caused him to be fearful of new humans and environments. He takes time to trust humans, preferring to be left alone until he feels safe enough to trust you. He is incredibly stressed and scared here at the shelter, to the point that he stopped eating for a few days and we have been making him home cooked meals to make sure he eats enough (he LOVES scrambled eggs!).

Sq**rt is very well crate trained and LOVES having a crate as his safe space. He seems to be house trained as well. He listens very well and also travels well. He is vocal, so an apartment setting would not be ideal. He does well is with most other dogs, he seems to prefer small calm dogs. He does well with cats and needs an adult only home. Sq**rt now trusts our volunteers and is showing them his true loving, playful, and goofy personality. All this boy needs is a forever family that understands his needs and will love him forever!

We finished up with Lilly and Maisy last Monday and we’re still thinking about them!! This was our third summer with these perfect little baby angels. They’re the sweetest girls, the best cuddlers, and kept us laughing from the minute we arrived until the minute we left. I swear they’re both humans disguised as a cattle dog and brittney spaniel!! Their perfect snoots, soft kisses, and tippy tappy zoomies were the best way to wake up and fall asleep. We’re counting down the days until we see these two again 💜🐶

Please if you know any information about who did this pass along the information, this is very heart breaking to see I couldn’t imagine how the pup must feel being abandoned by their family.

Took 2 days to disconnect and take my daughter to Philly for her birthday 🎂 to see a concert…

But I’m a little shocked lately .
Business owners are allowed to disconnect. We shouldn’t be expected to answer every single message immediately..
Messaging ,emailing multiple times and calling for a very not life changing situation like rescheduling a ticket 🎟️ is extremely inconsiderate..

Please normalize giving small businesses some time to breathe . 🧘‍♀️
I have a million things going on behind the scenes as well . I don’t have a woman sitting waiting to take call like the phone company.

We live in a very give it to me now fast pace world and I get that but we’re just trying to balance everything and survive for Pete’s sake . 🤦🏻‍♀️

That being said we had the best time visiting Philly . ✌️

We are incredibly honored that our community has nominated us, and the only thing better than that would be to win!!

We have a lot of big dreams that we can only hope to accomplish in the next few months, and this would only help our journey in doing that.

We had our monthly board meeting today. We discussed many things, including:

1. More pup cups, one is simply not enough. It’s actually quite insulting to think they stop at just one.

2. Treats, not enough of those going around. They’ve become very stingy, not sure if it’s the economy or pure laziness.

3. Air jail. Get rid of it. The justice system is doing us all a disservice. We should be able to yell/ snap/ growl/ attack Duke as much as we want with no consequences. Duke strongly disputed.

4. More pup cups. This came up three times actually.

5. We should all be allowed in the passenger seat. Figure it out.

6. Daycare should be 7 days a week, 12 hours a day. Kids these days just don’t want to work. Back in our day, we worked around the clock and you’d never hear us complain.

7. Two out of the three of us are above the age of 25, the fact that no matter how many times we sit in the drivers seat, we’re never allowed to drive is not only disrespectful but insulting.

8. Rolling. We should be allowed to roll in anything and everything without the threat of a bath. We WANT to smell like the flat animals on the side of the road and p*e. That’s the point.

9. Water guns. Ban them. It’s out of control.

10. Finally, the windows in the car should be all the way down, and the seat buckles should be eradicated. We want to hang our entire bodies out the window, and be able to jump out the moving vehicle if we so please.

Sweet baby Rae’s last day of drop in visits was today 💜🥹

Rae has been a long time pack member, all the way back from the days of Rover. This sweet little angel lost her sister not too long ago, so visits look a bit different. We give her extra loving and kisses (and maybe extra milk bones) while mom is away. She’s such a sweet girl, and we always look forward to starting and ending our day with her. We can’t wait to see her again soon 🐶🐾

It’s our Queen G’s birthday 👑🥳

Our lady is 7 years old today!!! It’s hard to believe but that’s what they’re telling us 😭

Anyone who knows Gigi knows how perfect and special she is. She’s the sweetest girl who would spend all day licking your face and loving on you if she could. She has gone through so much this year. From losing her big brother, to becoming a big sister, starting daycare, making so many new friends, and becoming the queen of the pack. She’s never met a new friend, human or dog, she doesn’t love. She’ll pretend she didn’t get fed after every meal, and she’ll paw you if you stop petting her. We’re obsessed. We love her and we can’t wait for another year of Gigi 💜

We had the day off from our usual daycare to get our cars serviced, so we’re using today to catch up on our never ending to do list and work on some very exciting projects we have planned!!

The time has come to introduce a new HUMAN to our pack 💜

It is nearly impossible to find someone we trust enough to allow them to be part of our business, let alone trust with your pets and homes. As our pack has grown, our availability has lessened, so it was inevitable that we would have to work on finding the right person. It seemed perfect to call the one, and possibly only, person I’d trust enough to travel to a different continent with 😂

Kate and I met when she was 16 and I was 18, working our first job, and somehow 5 years after that we were traveling to Australia together. We survived a pandemic, met my now husband (WHAT?!?) and now she works for us. To say I trust her would be a massive understatement. She has always been one of my best friends, but she’s truly the little sister I’ve never had. There was no question that we should add her to our team. She loves animals just as much as we do, she’s just as weird, silly, and goofy with them as we are, and we promise having her take care of your pets will be just like we are.
