YHS has two new additions to the ranch. We’d like to welcome Luna who is a 9 year old Andalusian Paint mare with a great disposition. Junior is a 21 year old American Saddlebred who retired from the show ring. At this time he is not suitable to ride and we are looking for a companion home only. Welcome to the barn Barley and Sonny. Both equine were surrendered due to their owner’s unfortunate health issues. Barley is a very gentle 10 year old donkey who would make a great companion. Sonny is an 18 year old mustang. Both of these beautiful boys will need their teeth floated before going up for adoption.

We’d like to introduce our newest herd member…. 𝘗𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘭𝘰𝘱𝘦. She’s a stunning Quarter Horse - Morgan yearling but also very green. Penelope will need an experienced horse person to continue her education. Stay tuned for updates on her progress.

We’d like to give a big thank you to Lisa for driving up from Tucson to trim our girls. Lulu came to us with extremely long hooves but can be hard to handle so we needed an expert. Lisa is part of the Ironwood Pig Sanctuary in southern Arizona and really knows her stuff. Ironwood is home to over 600 rescue pigs Daisy, Poppy and Lulu were very relaxed and the process was painless for them. We highly recommend Lisa if you’re looking for a pig or goat trimmer. She and her team are amazing!

We got hit tonight pretty hard by 2 different scammers and we're pretty sure they tagged you guys in it... It's from Farah Foset and Popy David... trying to get y'all to order hoodies from us... IT IS A SCAM... please report them, delete them... PLEASE do not order anything from them or even click on the link... Trust us, when we have YHS stuff, it will come from US, not some random person! They hit up organizations every day... Report to FB, Block them... The photo below is from previous scammers... it's just an example of what you'll see.

Our sweet Luna, formerly known as Rosemary is blossoming in her new environment. Not only is she getting the care and training she needs but she’s also captured the heart of a young girl. Avery is very devoted to Luna and the two of them are starting to learn tricks. We can’t wait to see what this dynamic duo accomplish together❤️

We’d like to welcome Captain the c**t!!! This youngster came from a southern Arizona auction and could possibly be an Appendix, Quarter Horse and Thoroughbred. YHS is looking for volunteers to help around the barn. Duties include feeding, cleaning stalls, checking water buckets and most importantly, loving the animals. Our schedules are very flexible but we’re currently looking to fill some specific days. Sunday, Wednesday and Fridays. Equine experience is helpful but not necessary. This morning, our FB page got hit by spammers/scammers trying to sell you YHS Equine hoodies and more... this was NOT us! We have reported them to FB, blocked them from FB and (hopefully) got all 97 of their posts removed. We apologize for them tagging you and trying to get you to fall for their schemes! They hit up 1,000's of organizations every day, and it stinks!

Sunday Fun Day with Ranger and Chance! These two Thoroughbreds love to kick up their hooves and show off for the camera.

Just a day in the life of a lazy barn cat.

Today two of our sweet piggies finally got their happy ending. A local family visited a couple months ago and have been busy getting their property pig friendly. Powder and Oliver have become great friends and pigs love to be with their own kind so……our adopters happily agreed to keep them together❤️ We wish you two cuties the best of luck and your sweet snorts and wagging tails will be missed around the barn.

Introducing Oliver, one of our cutie pie pigs who is patiently waiting for his forever home. Oliver loves hanging with his barn critter buddies and is always on the move. Happy Adoption Day!!!!! Our sweet and petite Wednesday hit the jackpot with her new family. She is living with a wonderful couple on 5 acres and has a new buddy. A 3 year old mustang filly. From the minute she stepped off the trailer you could see she felt right at home and this was meant to be. We will share Wednesday’s future updates and continue to watch this little cutie blossom. A big huge thank you to our amazing volunteers for all their hard work and dedication to this gal. YOU are such an important part of helping find our horses loving homes❤️

A big thank you to our staff, veterinarian, and farrier that were on board with treatments before she even arrived to us several days ago and who are still with us every step of the way as Blossom finds her feet and health again!
