Oh, Nubbins!😍 I can’t think about this darling dynamo without my heart fluttering. She is bitty perfection - including the little corkscrew at the tip of her tail! She’s also the one that got 3 pluses in the vigor category at birth. ⚡️⚡️⚡️ She’s super loving. DOB 3/24/24. ❤️

Seelie🧚‍♀️is a term for fairies in Scottish folklore. From the moment she was born, the little marking on her forehead, looked to me like a genie coming out a bottle, so I did a little more research on genies and came across Seelies. I thought it would be a different and cute nickname. 😊 She is a LOVE.🥰 Families are still choosing their pups.

Okay, so I nicknamed him Slash because of the thin white “/” marking on his forehead, but that totally doesn’t NOT go with his personality. It doesn’t really matter, because these are just nicknames for while they’re here, but I still want them to be cute! I might change it. Maybe Buzz or Sullivan…The puppies love all of the Toy Stories, and Monsters Inc.! Lol. Either way, he is an absolute sweetheart!💝 DOB 3/24/24.

They were so happy to get back in their den! We finished up temperament testing today, which we did in our living room, and then I put all the puppies in that room so I could sanitize the den. Mr. Big Stuff rediscovered the funky clunky mobile & everyone was impressed. 😍

We finished day, one of temperament testing today. Kiwi, Rowan, Batman, Blossom, and Mr. Big Stuff went today and they were all adorable. I’m going to post some highlights tonight, and hope to get the full videos up on YouTube by tomorrow. They really take a very long time for me to upload and download and post. Or vice versa. Lol.

I decided to make the indoor puppy area bigger and accidentally cornered Jovi! LOL. It’s just a momentary arrangement. The pups were super excited! Day one of temperament testing is tomorrow (Tuesday 5/14). I can’t wait for Barbara to meet them! Each test takes about 15 to 20 minutes, and nine puppies will not be awake for that long, so we will have to do two days. They had their first vaccinations yesterday, on Mother’s Day, at seven weeks old. I did titer testing and a maternal nomograph on Jovi, which gave us recommended vaccination schedule for pups of 7, 10, and 14 weeks. I recommend a parvo bump at 18 weeks. I only vaccinate for parvovirus and distemper, but discuss proven safe and effective vaccines for disease in the area of their new homes. I got the first stage of cleaning the outdoor puppy area done today, and I should be able to get them out tomorrow, after temperament testing. I do have to do a disinfecting cleaning before I put them out there. Things are moving really fast, and there are a lot of things happening for these little guys. I only have them for three more weeks! I’m having a little trouble with my vision right now, so even though I tried to proofread this, I apologize for any errors. Lol.❤️
