Great article on the importance of colostrum. There is no vaccine or medication that can promote calf health like proper intake of colostrum.

The most likely candidates for “inadequate” passive immunity are calves born to first calf two-year-old heifers. Calves with inadequate passive immunity remain at higher risk to illness prior to weaning.

PSA - We suggest you take a look at your herd bulls. Almost every day we are receiving pictures and videos of severe frostbite damage to the sc***um, in some cases 3-4 inches high, that is going to result in testicular degeneration and complete infertility. December wind chills caused some unfortunate damage.
