Any negative comments about the shelter, volunteers or rescues will be deleted. If comments are extreme or continue by the same person, they will be banned from the site. The goal of this page is to show the dogs and cats in danger of being euthanized and try to save them. Address:

All animals are brought in by Animal Control Officers ONLY in the surrounding counties. Dogs are held for 5 days of legal claim time then held for 2-3 weeks after for adoption or rescue. If you see an animal that interests you, please call right away. Rescue organizations are welcome to pull animals with proper paperwork and a pull fee. Hours of operation are Monday through Saturday 9:00 am until 12:00 noon CST. please contact the shelter at 850-326-6417. NEEDED: URGENT! Volunteers to come to shelter between hours of 9 am CST and 12 pm CST to take pictures and get descriptions of pets/post to website. Helpful in saving their lives and getting adopted and into rescues. Needed only one or two days a week. If you can help, please call shelter for more info. Again the number is 850-326-6417. Please leave a message if we do not answer. After hours, holidays and off days we do not answer the phone. A staff member will get back to you as soon as they can.
