🐾Update on Atlas 🐾

Thank you to everyone who donated to the Special Needs Fund! We were able to raise the money for Atlas, with some left over to help other special needs cases!

Atlas will have his surgery this Thursday!

✨PETS OF THE WEEK✨

Meet our pets of the week, Caesar and Tana!

Caesar came to us in rough shape, he had a broken tail, and some mysterious wounds on his side that ended up becoming infected, in turn, making his skin necrotic. After some vet care, a tail amputation and some tlc from a wonderful foster. Caesar is ready for adoption! He’s a quiet, sweet boy, who gets along well with other cats.

Tana is a spunky 8-9 month old, female, husky mix. Tana was originally a stray and transferred to us from another organization. Nothing seems to phase her, and she’s a staff favorite at the shelter, due to her sweet demeanor. She gets along well with other dogs, and doesn’t seem to mind cats. Tana has gone on quite a few day-cations as well! 🐕

🐾Weekly Wishlist🐾

Thank you to everyone who has dropped off items for our pets in the last few weeks. We have received items off of our wishlist we usually don’t get, such as lick mats, kongs, puzzle toys, and dog treats ❤️. Because of this, our wishlist this week is very short. We are in need of ONE item.

A lovely couple dropped off brand new dogs toys a couple weeks ago. They made sure every one of our dogs were able to have their own individual toy ❤️. We saved them to hand out on Christmas Eve!

✨Meet our Pets of the Week: Bandit and Bernadette✨

🐶 Bandit: This dashing, high-energy boy is ready to bring adventure into your life! Whether it’s a morning jog or a weekend hike, Bandit is the perfect companion for an active household. He arrived at our shelter earlier this month with his housemate, Hazel (who’s also looking for her forever home) making him a great choice for a multi-dog family. 🐾 His picture is from an outing with one of our wonderful fosters who said he did great on his outing with her!

🐱Bernadette : She arrived at our shelter in August with her 7 kittens. While her little ones are still waiting for homes too, we can’t help but feel for the moms who often get overlooked. At 3 years old, spayed, and full of love to give, Bernadette is more than ready to find her forever family. Could it be with you? 🤍

OPEN INTERVIEWS TODAY! Now until 1pm!

We are hiring Animal Care Assistants and are offering walk-in interviews this Saturday from 10 AM to 2 PM at the shelter. 10501 County Hwy S, Chippewa Falls, WI 54729 ~1 mile past the Edge Restaurant. You can help our homeless animals have a clean, caring space to live while they await their homes and make some money, too! Starting salary is $13.00/hr.

A HUGE THANK YOU, to SandBar and Grill! Their Ugly Christmas Sweater Bingo night raised $4,378, and we received a truck bed full of donations for the shelter! 🐾❤️
