It’s so hard to show these guys to the public. They are timid cats (Bezz, Zepp, Satine and Spooky) who will hide when they meet new people - even volunteers. But when they are used to you and see you each day, they
🐱run up to you for pets
🐱know exactly when you are done cleaning and ready to take out the treats
🐱let you hold them on your lap and even trim their nails
🐱will meow loud at you for pets
🐱they do play with toys and are super curious
It’s crazy how they have progressed in a year time. So what do they need?
They need a home that
🐱will set up a room with a bed, food, water, litter box and toys for them to adjust to.
🐱with humans that will visit this room and maintain constant attention - pets, treats, play-time.
🐱has humans who understand they need time to come out and be like they are at the shelter. It didn’t happen in a week. We got them when they had no human interaction and it took over 6 months. You need to give them a few days to a few months and celebrate the little things.
🐱will let them come out of the room on their own and understand that they may run from you but over time will come to you.
🐱understands they might not come out to visitors in your home. But they might!
They need a home with older kids. They do get along with other cats (they have not been next to dogs but when they walk buy, nothing happens). These four get along with all cats- even the ones that hate cats! They are friendly and accepting. Timid but want to be loved. They are worth the time and patience- just like all the other timid cats we adopted out and helped the adopters with ideas and tricks. We are here for all questions and help when you adopt for however long it takes!
