A great winter solstice weekend. Roostercomb and Cascade a couple of great training hikes for the winter. What’s training without recovery. Home sweet home! Red light therapy, Epsom salt bath, sauna, compression legs and cold plunge. No rest for the wicked right back in the pack I go! The Holiday Hustle - 2 weeks.

Now that I have almost everyone’s attention the holiday rush is almost here. I will be traveling to the mountains this weekend for some hiking for winter solstice to get ready for the hustle and flow of holiday rush for two weeks straight. It’s been a crazy week with the passing of Gino, my catscan cancer free news and getting our Critter Sitter holiday gifts out and the photos of all the dogs passing for the year to clients. The mountains are calling for reflection, decompression and a mindset check for the two week grind! I get to do what I love. Happy Holidays peeps it’s going to be an exciting end to the year and start of a new one. Let’s go!

The hustle and bustle of the holiday season can be very stressful. Please take care of yourself. Today is a big day with my doc’s from HOA - the reading of the cat scan. These are vital for me every four months for two years and then we go to every six months. In March it will be two years clear of cancer but not without a ton of side effects from radiation and chemo. One day at a time eating and pooping and the help of a functional nutririonist. Gotta remember these things take time and to be kind to myself. Hopefully we shine today and remember the importance of self care. Be merry and bright!!!

Already getting after the New Year’s Eve rush. Still going strong with the holiday hustle…bringing in 2025 with a lot of new services and hopefully a new building! So excited for 2025!!!

Sorry for the finger in the end of the video was trying to get the pack up someone was walking in the other yard down below. So to avoid a ton of barking at the person I check them in and make our way to a different yard. Thus trying to close gate film and watch dogs part of my hand in the way. Definitely not easy!

Pack dynamics at its best the crew was rowdy yesterday. Always love working a rowdy pack!

We start early here at the Critter Pad. A long day outside in nature with the pack and we get some sound sleepers at night.

Post holiday shenanigans with the Critter Pack…never gets old. We are going strong all weekend and next week for the holiday rush. Always grateful to hit the ground running at 3 am and make it happen for our pups!

Merry Christmas Eve we are rocking and rolling at the Pad! ALL DAYCARE pickups tonight by 5pm!

Happy Christmas Eve all daycare pick ups need to be out of the Pad by 5pm. We are shutting down shop early so I can have dinner with family and friends for the first time in many years. It’s going to be a long two weeks with school out travel for clients will be going the entire two weeks. Please have a safe and happy holiday.

Happy winter solstice from Cascade Mountain in the Adirondacks. Monarch wanted to check in with Gino his brother in heaven to see how his pals doing. I wanted to get some peace and tranquility before the two weeks of the holiday hustle. Definitely had to give a shout of to all the birthdays - MOMMA P you set the mark high so we had to go above the clouds. Thank you for inspiring me each and every day and your unconditional love and support. Kristin, Livy, Hope, Pat and Stephen enjoy your day and happy birthday!
